Rating: Summary: An uplifting book that inspires and motivates the reader. Review: I first read "He Still Moves Stones" several years ago when a friend loaned it to me. I've purchased several copies since. Max Lucado captures the wonder of God's grace. I read it again a month ago and cried again during the same passages. The book is layed out in a series of vignettes with common theme. I just gave a copy to a couple who are going through a tough time with a teenage child. He hasn't had a chance to read it, yet, but his wife is reading it. She told him today that she likes it very much and finds it motivational and uplifting.
Rating: Summary: Good message. Review: I found this book to give me a lot of good ideas in ministry. I enjoyed reading it as a gift from a friend. Many need to hear this message in their lives a lot.

Rating: Summary: Max's 2nd Best Review: I sat down and read this book completely through. Very well done. I see this as one of the best Christian books I have read. This is Max Lucado's second best. His absolute best is "No Wonder They Call Him the Savior."
Rating: Summary: This Book Will Move You Review: I was given this book in 1994 by a friend who told me to read it and pass it along to someone else. I could not give it away -- so I bought another copy and gave it away. I've done that more than 10 times now, passing a copy along to people who need to hear the words of hope, encouragement and love. You won't be disappointed in this book -- or in any of Max Lucado's books!
Rating: Summary: Mighty Moving Mr. Lucado Review: I wish that I could give this book ten stars which is righly what it deserves and more. I have not read all of Mr. Lucado's books as yet, but this has to be one of his best. Max Lucado paints the early life of Christ on earth in the gospels in his gallery of stories when our Saviour walked this earth in the flesh. I felt God's love and presence so deeply as he performed his daily miracles, heal the sick turn water into wine, speak about grace, forgiveness, disappointments and even prayer. I just could not help compare the biblical times to our present day situations, and I found myself doing this in all of the stories. I can say without a doubt that the Holy Spirit has guided the author's hand throughout this book as I felt the power of God so stronly as I read. This book challenges one to look at your life and examine it and see the way God has moved in your past as a non-Christian until the present as a Christian. He still moves stones every minute in our every day lives, and that's one reason we must exalt and praise His Holy Name. Readers please buy this book and be inspired as I was. Max Lucado..........thank you, thank you thank you.
Rating: Summary: An avalanche of stones tumbled from my heart Review: I've been reading Max Lucado for several years but this one, at this time in my life, had more impact than any other. As always, the scriptural references, combined with his interpretation for our world today brought new understanding and meaning for me. With each flood of tears I could literally feel the avalanche of stones tumble from my heart - even ones I didn't realize were there.
Rating: Summary: Another Triumph for Max Lucado Review: In his usual way, Max Lucado gets his point across with great depth of feeling and sensitivity while remaining on the cutting edge of what's happening today. We are using this book for a Bible Study program and every member of the group is finding the insights contained in this book helpful and stimulating. The Study Guide at the back provides excellent group or individual questions. The illustrations are right in keeping with what is happening in our world at this moment in time. A wonderful book that is helping people to come to a closer knowledge of God and God's love for them.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: In my opinion this is one of Max Lucado's most inspirational books. It was the first one I read. I just happened to begin to read it shortly after my daughter was born with severe anoxic brain damage. At a time in my life where there were many questions and not a lot of answers God showed me through Max's words that He still moves stones. Great reading for any Christian.
