Rating: Summary: My favorite book Review: "He still moves stones" was the first Christian book that I ever read. What great imagery. Since this book, I have read every other Max Lucado book printed and never been disappointed.

Rating: Summary: Normal Lucado Fare... Review: ...that is, excellent. The master storyteller returns with insight and clarity-of-thought. He writes simply yet eloquently, and always has new thoughts to share. In particular, I enjoyed his comments on how the repentant thief on the cross shared the core of the Gospel -- "We are getting what we justly deserve; He has done nothing wrong." Reading that led me to slap my forehead and wonder why _I_ had not thought of that. :) All in all, an excellent purchase. Peace, Christinaphylus
Rating: Summary: Other than the Bible, this is one of the most 'moving' books Review: A friend at church loaned me this book. This book has left me feeling so small and unworthy of such a wonderful God. Since I became a Christian, two years ago in August 1997, God has performed several miracles in my life, one being healing my lungs to the extent that I no longer require supplemental oxygen twenty four hours a day. I had been oxygen dependant for over eleven years and now only require it in emergencies. I praise the Lord for this miracle and all the others He continues to show me. I literally shook as I read Maxs' book, because I am a living testament to the healing powers Max refers to of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord continue to bless Max Lucado with word to touch other souls so they too may know, God IS still with us. We need only to seek Him. HE WILL ANSWER!
Rating: Summary: What a blessing Review: Currently going through a major trial, I reached for this book b/c it's title grabbed my attention. Does God still do miracles? Does He still care about my troubles? Lucado is a master at bringing to life Biblical and modern-day examples of how God's hand works, perhaps in ways we cannot understand or fathom. I am blessed, deeply, because of how Lucado brought the Scriptures into the picture. He doesn't just tell a bunch of warm-fuzzy stories, but brings the Word of God into my heart & mind with his words. Thanks Max.
Rating: Summary: An amazingly vivid, moving book Review: I am so glad I discovered this author! He has an amazing talent for bringing Bible stories to life, in a moving and powerful way. I like this book so much, I have gone on to read three more. I also like that he includes a study guide, encouraging us to think more deeply about the message and apply it to our lives.
Rating: Summary: Just couldn't put it down.... Review: I enjoyed this book so much. I bought the book out of curiousity after skimming through it. It has been one of the best purchases that I've made. Mr. Lucado's words are such an inspiration; you can really feel and identify what has been written. This book isn't just for Christians; it's for anyone who has gone through struggles and know that there's a light on the other side.

Rating: Summary: A miracle Review: I felt blessed after I have read this book. Actually, this book is the first book I've read that written by Max. After finishing this book, I have carried on and read the rest of Max's book, none of them dispointed me.
I am a Chinese, but I found that Max's book is very easy to read. Maybe this is because his books are not written by words, but written by his true heart. I felt really lucky to have chance to meet Max, through "He still move stone".
Rating: Summary: An uplifting book that inspires and motivates the reader. Review: I first read "He Still Moves Stones" several years ago when a friend loaned it to me. I've purchased several copies since. Max Lucado captures the wonder of God's grace. I read it again a month ago and cried again during the same passages. The book is layed out in a series of vignettes with common theme. I just gave a copy to a couple who are going through a tough time with a teenage child. He hasn't had a chance to read it, yet, but his wife is reading it. She told him today that she likes it very much and finds it motivational and uplifting.
