Summary: Blood work
Review: The title of my book is Blood Work. The auther of the book i read was Michael Connelly. The total mumber of the pages in the book is 469 The main characters in the story are Terrell Mccaleb, an ex-FBI agent and Graciella Rivers, the sister of Golra

The setting of the story takes plave near L.A. the time of the story is 1993. This story is about an ex-FBI agent(mcacaleb.)recovering from a recent heart transplant. The only problem with that is the heart he has now is from Golria, who was murer. The sister of Graciella Rivers steps on the boat and into his life.

The one golden sent. in the story i wish is haad wrothe is" the urge to freshly recrate the sensation of power and control over another human would be growing and incerasingly hard to control." (85)This shows how he feels the power inside of him. The cover of the book realts to the story because the people beign killed like Golria are being killed for a cerrtain Blood types.

The title of the book means, it all revise around blood type and killing people. This was the best book i have read in a long time. If you are looking for a book that kepts you on the edge of your set the entire time read this book!

Summary: A Great Blunder On My Part Leaves Me The Winner...
Review: How it happened...While skimming the isles of my localbookstore, in my hurry, I grab a book that I had thought Michael Crichton had wrote. I take it home and Boo-Yah! It's Michael Connelly (Don't smirk, I wear glasses). Anyway, Terrell McCaleb and I become the best of buds. This book is a great blunder on my part but the great writing within, left me the winner! This is action, suspense and far from predictable. READ THIS BOOK.

Summary: Well-written, but convoluted
Review: BLOOD WORK, as the rest of Connelly's books is very wellwritten. But the denoument boggles the imagination. Way too complicated and convoulted to make sense. My advice--keeep it simple.

Summary: So good I immediately started reading his "The Poet."
Review: All the positive reviews are well deserved. My only complaint is that Connelly has not bothered to develop Graciela's character. I can't fathom McCaleb's strong attraction to her except as a sex object; and, given his personality, I would expect he would be seeking more in a woman. All that aside, it was wonderful to read a detective procedural that is written as well as most of the current "literary" novels. I plan to read all of this author's yarns. More, please, Mr. Connelly.

Summary: GREAT BOOK
Review: Applause for Michael Connelly again! This was my third bookthat I read of his (Trunk Music and The Poet were my the others). Blood work was great, not as good as the other two, but well worth reading. I found the ending predictable. Something I thought was very unlike MC's other books.

I enjoy reading his books and look forward to reading the rest of his collection.

Summary: Suspenseful and original
Review: Congratulations to Michael Connelly for another excellent book. For those who need a good beach or airplane novel, I recommend it. I had a few minor comments I thought I would pass along. 1. I think this may be the second Connelly novel in which "defuse" and "diffuse" have been confused. 2. As far as I know, the penalty under California's "three strikes" law is not life without possibility of parole, but an indeterminate term of 25 years to life. And 3, in reality McCaleb would have made a mistake in ostentatiously locking the door while questioning Bolotov, as that may have resulted in "custodial interrogation" and a requirement of a "MIRANDA" warning before any statements could be used. Those quibbles aside, it was great.
