Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: This book is a fast, exciting read. I hated to see it end. Maddie, the heroine is beautiful, smart and hilarious. Her scenes with "Zorba" the dog are laugh-out-loud funny. My hubby kept staring at me like I was losing it. Sam, the hero, is hunky, sweet, and equally funny. They meet when an attempt is made on Maddie's life while she is in a motel while on a business trip. Sam, and his fellow FBIer's are hot on the trail of a serial killer who calls in clues to his next kill via cell phone calls to Sam. Maddie, meanwhile is leading a double life and thinks that the attempt on her life is related to something from her past that she's running from. Of course, Sam and Maddie fall for each other, but it was so much more than just sex. Those scenes are great, of course, but they seem to have a real bond right from the start. The way the author is able to wrap/tie everything up in the end is exciting and surprising. Worth the money.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: This is a wonderfull book to read by Ms Robards. I loved everything from the character's to the plot. For reader's who like romance and suspense, you must give this one a try. I have read all of her books and love each and every one of them.
Rating: Summary: Great read! Review: This was my introduction to Robards and I plan to check out some more of her romantic suspense titles. It's fun, fast-paced, has characters you can LIKE and a great plot. I didn't give it a full five stars because I felt like the "killer' aspect wasn't developed enough. While the rest of the story ebbed and flowed with great detail, Robards finished the "killer" plot in such a hurry I got whiplash. Still, it's worth checking out.
