Summary: Pretty Silly...
Review: I picked up a copy of *Wild Justice* at the airport when I saw all the excellent reviews on the inside cover. I must admit that I was sadly disappointed in these reviewers. The novel had a quick pace, but it wasn't scary and it certainly didn't keep me up at night.

A serial killer is on the loose, and the accused may not be the killer. Amanda Jaffe is a brand new attorney working at her father's firm, and they are both defending Dr. Vincent Cardoni, a separated physician dealing with cocaine addiction (leaving him wide open for arrest). After Cardoni's arrest (and possible escape/ possible death), another set of murders pops up, with the same modus operandi of the original killings. It's up to Amanda to find out who the killer(s) really are.

Once again, I found *Wild Justice* to be a pretty quick read, but it's nothing that I expected. I find the Dr. Scarpetta novels by Patricia Cornwell to be more suspenseful and ultimately satisfying.

Summary: Another Triumph by Margolin!
Review: I was disappointed to see the first reviewer give this book only 1 star and suggest to other readers they should pass it over. I felt that this was a great twisted plot, although at times the characters were a bit thinly drawn--however, who really knows what childhood events can turn one into a raging sociopath? Certainly there was a lot of thought, and unique devices employed by Margolin in his storyline. I was really ready to be entertained and escape from the everyday work world and this certainly did it for me, keeping me up two nights in a row so I could find out if I had the killer figured out. Of course, I changed my mind twice, but I caught the slip made by the madman long before Amanda did--but it was easier from the outside. All in all, a good get-away summer read. You may not want to be alone while you read it!

Summary: Great Book, Best I Have Read This Year
Review: Wild Justice by Phillip Margolin, is a great book. During the whole book you were thinking i know who did it, then something comes up and your like no it wasnt him, then it has to be... That is how the whole book went. I read this book on a road trip home from Minnesota, and i read this the whole time. It is a page turing til the end, and even then you want to go on. The book shows you about the law and even teaches you about some of the law. You think you know every detail about the people but then a clue about there life pops up. The charactors are good, the plot is great, and the author really took his time on this one. I cant wait to pick up a few more by him.

Summary: Kelly's review
Review: This is a page turning thriller, where right until the end, Philip Margolin leaves you wondering "who dunnit?" As with all of his other books, Margolin introduces you to characters at the beginning, and continues to teach you about them as the book moves on. His details of the characters makes you think you know them, but in the true sense of a thriller, what do you really know? This is a great book and you will not be disappointed.

Summary: Predictable, poorly written, and a corny sex scene
Review: Like all the others, I had figured out that Cardoni was not guilty by page 100. Of course, I admit I had to go back and reread the beginning pages, but it was pretty clear that the author had taken giant steps to keep any refernce to him off the page when the murderous events were taking place. Unfortunately, no one really cares whether Cardoni is innocent or not. Margolin's main character is a woman, and like most male writers, he lacks the facility to tell the story from the female viewpoint. Most of the characters are cardboard, and the moment the sex scene came up, I said, she's sleeping with the enemy [and hasn't that one been done to death?]. Save your time and efforts. Read something by Robert K. Tanenbaum.

Summary: Great Psychological Thriller
Review: This was one of those books where, no matter what I was supposed to be doing, whenever I put the book down I found myself being drawn back to it. The housework went out the window, the gardening was forgotten, I just had to find out who was committing these murders and how they were going to be stopped.

Other people have written excellent plot outlines in their reviews so I won't waste your time by repeating them here. Suffice it to say that if you enjoy a good psychological thriller with plenty of suspects, you'll enjoy this book.

Summary: Excellent effort and worth a look.
Review: This was the first Margolin story I have read and I was thrilled with it. Top notch suspense with plenty of twists and turns. I like a story that keeps you guessing for as long as possible. Margolin does as excellent job with his structure and his character development. I look forward to reading more from this great author.

Summary: POORLY DONE
Review: I'M SOMEWHAT SURPRISED AT THE REVIEWS TO DATE---THER MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME! THIS IS EASILY THE WORST BOOK I HAVE READ IN THE LAST 5 YEARS. THE PLOT IS TOTALLY IMPLAUSABLE,THE CHARACTERS ARE UNREAL AND FORGETABLE, AND THE OUTCOME IS VERY PREDICTABLE. I HAVE READ OTHER BOOKS BY THIS AUTHOR AND ENJOYED THEM. SOMEONE MUST HAVE INSTRUCTED HIM TO WRITE ANOTHER ONE TO GET TO MARKET REAL FAST AND THE PLOT SHOWS IT !

Summary: author is bigot
Review: Wild Justice has its' moments, but is very predictable. The author also seems to have an incredibly hateful view towards Italian-Americans.
