Summary: Excellent 'time-of-the-season' story. Inspiring!
Review: This is definitely a 'tug-at-your-heart' story but one that each of us need to read - at least at this time of year. Warm and inspiring. For Fathers -- a MUST! We need to remember what our priorities should be - not what they are.

Summary: Touching for all ages
Review: My husband and I listened to this audio on the way to my mother's house. We were so touched that the very next day we got the family together which included ages from my 23 year old son to my 73 year old mother to listen to it. Everyone was so touched including my son who needless to say was embarrased to be caught with a lump in his throat and tears in his eyes. However he loved the tape so much that he bought several for Christmas presents.

Summary: excellent
Review: This book reminds us what the true meaning of Christmas is. It was touching. I bought 5 more copies to give to friends for Christmas, so they can also reminded.

Summary: This book is a marketing tool.
Review: Overrated and poorly written, this book was a huge disapointment. With every boring and simplistic paragraph I wanted to scream. The characters are flat, and the narration and sequence of events frequently illogical. Moreover the plot was so obvious and trite that I wanted to gag.

Summary: A must read for all parents!!
Review: I heard about this book from a co-worker and am glad that I took the time to read it. It is a definite must read for all parents, especially the hard working father. It teaches a lesson that we all tend to forget in today's world and reminds you of what is TRULY important in your life.

Summary: the most heartfelt book Ive read in a long time.
Review: When you think of how many great Christmas storys there are, for some its hard to put a finger on just one. Not for me. To me, this is THE Cristmas story. I've never read a book so touching. It practically melts your heart to read what Christmas is supposed to be. You instantly fall in love with the charachters from page one. So whenever Christmas comes around(whenever any time comes around) take the time to sit down in your favorite chair and enjoy the experience of an amazingly beautiful story.

Summary: touching story of gifts; especially Christmas gifts
Review: I LOVED THIS STORY!!!!

Everyone needs to read this book. It helped me understand my parent's world. (I'm 14 years old.) It tells the story of the author and his encounter with a widow. The detail is marvelous!

Summary: Magical! Heartwarming! Tearjerker!
Review: This book was wonderful! I have been reading books since I was a child and have never been as moved as when I read The Christmas Box. From start to finish I couldn't put it down. I cried my eyes out at the end. Richard Paul Evans is a genius. I couldn't wait to read Timepiece and The Letter and was not disappointed.

I recommended this book to my family and friends and they too had the same reactions.

This book is a keeper for years to come!

Keep up the good work Mr. Evans.

Summary: Hard to put down, but a little simplistic
Review: I enjoyed this trilogy but found it a little simplistic, a little short, a little too direct. I think he is a talented author. Were the deaths necessary? What sorrow.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The book was an emotional outburst.
Review: I was told, by a friend of mine, that I had to read his books. So, I did and I was truly touched by his compassion in his writings. I felt like I truly knew the people within the story. I shared the joy and sadness with Richard's family and characters by reading this book. We all tend to forget the first gift of Christmas. Some people never new or felt this wonderful gift. Everyone should read these books.
