The Christmas Box
ISBN: 0-684-81499-4

"It was simply a wooden box."
A woman named Mary needed help at her house but really only wanted company. The author of the book also the main character found the wooden box in Mary's attic one night. Mary is getting weird and not being herself. Is she hiding something? Find out it is right under the snow angel.

The Christmas Box is a very touching book. During the book your emotions change because the emotions of the characters change. This is a quick and easy book to read and probably good for eleven to twelve year olds and up because there are some hard concepts to understand. I would say that this book is good for the Christmas season because it is a touching story about Christmas. This book has brought me into the Christmas mood and has made it more enjoyable.

Summary: The Book That Inspires Me Most!
Review: I will pick this book up and read at least once a year. It's that good. And I'm always glad to reconnect with Richard, Keri, Jenna, and Mary. Thos is truly a Christmas classic.
Moreover, it was one of the inspirations that led to my becoming a writer. I figured, If Richard Evans can do it, why not me?
I recommend this book as well as my book entitled "Prose From A Grandson To A Senior Fellow".

Summary: Tender and Sweet and an Easy Read
Review: The Christmas Box is marketed exactly as it should be -- a prettily packaged "gift book" with a melt-your-heart story.

While Richard Paul Evans certainly gives us an easy read with a good message (such a rare gem these days!), his writing does tend to fall a bit flat at times, succumbing to unnecessary detail or, in some instances, cliche.

If this writing style doesn't bother you, you will absolutely love this book. It's a refreshing change from much that is out there, and you will most likely sigh contentedly after you've finished the last page.

Pick up this book for a light read -- if anything, it's definitely the kind of story that will draw you right in and keep you reading.

And it's just the right size to squeeze into somebody's Christmas stocking as well!
