Summary: Steamy romance
Review: Jackie Collins has done it again in her steamy romance novel, Hollywood Divorces. Her characters are sassy and sexy and take you on an exciting ride in this story about love in a world that not many of us know. I loved it from beginning to end and can't get enough of this talented author's work!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: HOLLYWOOD DIVORCES DAZZLES!!!
Review: Jackie Collins is back, and in typical Collins fashion. In this novel, she introduces a number of new characters; there is Lola Sanchez, the sexy Latina temptress with a boring husband, an irresistible bad-boy ex-boyfriend, a traditional family, and an axe to grind with big screen superstar Linc Blackwood. But Linc Blackwood has problems of his own; his tragic childhood has left him struggling with substance abuse in his adult years..and his marriage is suffering as a result. His wife, Shelby Cheney, is a very well-respected former English actress, current American star. She excuses a lot of Linc's behavior, because she knows of his problematic childhood...but everyone has their limits. Cat Harrison is a young, twenty-something screen writer whose hit film has made her the current Hollywood darling. Cat has a mind of her own, and a fabulous marriage...or does she?

Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for another wonderful Collins ride...with plenty of drama, suspense, and four-letter words...in typical Collins fashion!!

Summary: Same story told in a new manner
Review: Linc Blackwood learns what a scorn woman means when he teams up with Lola Sanchez. A night of lust years ago comes back to haunt him. From there it is just one continuous bed jumping tale until Lola's husband Matt suddenly sees the light of what is happening beneath his nose after walking around in a daze. The usual sex and drugs backdrop the story. Worth reading, but not really Jackie's best.

Summary: HOLLYWOOD DIVORCES THE GUILTIEST PLEASURE OF THEM ALL
Review: Once again Jackie Collins hooks readers into the expensive world of Hollywood where fame, love and fortune all have their price.

Lola Sanchez is a diva on a par only with a certain Hispanic superstar and the rest of the characters read like a who's who of Hollywood.

Collins is at her sexy, lethal best, taking readers on a truly gripping ride through La-La Lands most high powered hills.

Summary: A fast-paced tale of sex and revenge...Hollywood style.
Review: Shelby Cheney is the beautiful actress married to Linc Blackwood, the aging action star with a flair for one-night stands and the unquenchable taste for booze, but after a powerhouse performance in her new film and the accidental run in with an ex-boyfriend, Shelby will re-examine her life and the choices she has made.

Lola Sanchez is the sexy star who climbed to the top the hard way, and in her past is a secret that fuels a plan of revenge. As an unknown Lola met Linc Blackwood at a party, believing she has hit some good luck, Lola sleeps with Linc in the hopes of his helping her career, but instead she gets used and shoved off without Linc remembering her. Now, as Lola is a huge superstar, she enacts her plan to bring down the man that wronged her.

Cat Harrison is the wild-child writer/director that has a huge hit on her hands and a future that all of Hollywood is talking about. As Cat's career is taking off, her husband, Australian musician Jump Jagger is touring the world and sleeping around, but Cat is no fool and after catching Jump cheating she makes a decision that will surprise everyone.

The tale of the three characters unfolds in true Hollywood style-fascinating plot, surprises and characters based on real-life Hollywood figures-readers will be hard pressed not to finish this one in one sitting.

'Hollywood Divorces' is another peek into the bedrooms of Hollywood's superstars. A fast-paced plot and shocks at every turn of the page will please fans, old and new, and cement a spot for the novel on all the bestseller lists.

Jackie Collins is the premier author of Hollywood fiction, and her new novel proves she still has the power to turn out a provocative page-turner.

A great, quick read.

Summary: Absolutely awful
Review: This book is so corny, so many cliches. There was not one likeable character. The real movie stars' lives in Hollywood make these characters look like angels. The 3 women's stories in this horrific book seem too good to be true. Yes, I mean Hollywood Divorces. It was amusing to read......for a second. I was hoping Collins would come out with some new lines but they're all the way. Been there, done that. I'm glad she got rid of a few characters. Good lord. I'd rather read about J. Lo's life, or did it?

Summary: Divorces a big waste of time & money ! !
Review: This book would have gotten four or five stars had it been written a tad bit better. Too much repetitiveness - i.e, Lola Sanchez being such a diva, Cat being so stubborn, on and on. Became almost like a need to fill pages with the repetitive descriptions.

Otherwise, a good read.

Summary: How can you not love Jackie Collins?
Review: This was the first Jackie Collins book I read, and I have to say I'm now an avid fan. People may say her novels are smutty or dirty, but they're also honest and provide incredible insight to personal experience and situation.

Take "Hollywood Divorces" as an example. The main characters are three women struggling on the Hollywood scene -
Shelby Cheney, married to adulterous alcaholic actor Linc Blackwood, is finally making a name for herself, thanks to her new movie, and there is even talk of Oscar nomination. Linc, whose career is failing due to his personal indulgences of drink, women, and eventually drugs, makes life increasingly hard for his wife, as she struggles to enjoy sucess and cover her husbands tracks.
Lola Sanchez, a hot new latino talent, is scarred by a liason with Linc when she was young and unknown, which left her unable to carry children. Driven by revenge, Lola is determined to ruin him, providing her puppy of a husband Matt and secret lover, drug lord director Tony Alvarez don't complicate her personal life to the point of total destruction.
Cat Harrison, a 19 year old director whose first movie 'Wild Child' brought her unlimited success, is devoted to her 'perfect' rock star huband Jump Jagger (no relation to Mick...), but will circumstances change beyond her control...?
Run ins with a perverted producer, the ever present press and of course, each other, prove for elaborate and explosive results. This book is fantastic, and well worth the read.
