Rating: Summary: Hey kiddies! It's me, BeastieNik... Review: Okay, let me get one thing straight....I DO NOT NORMALLY READ BOOKS. I almost never read books. But, since I am a big fan of EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND and my parents knew/know it, they bought me this for X-Mas. And I love it! It's one of the funniest books ever. At least I'm assuming it is (i don't read, remember?). It has lots of side splitting observations on his life which I found clever and witty. I advise you to pick up this book NOW!
Rating: Summary: Beautiful! Review: One of the best books I've read in a LONG time. Ray is hilarious from cover to cover. Only he could come up with using his lunch sack as ID!
Rating: Summary: Stand-up funny. It's a family funfest ! Review: Ray is now a familar face. You can't help but picture his t.v family playing the real-life Romanos. Ray has a talent to pick the little everyday things and make them funny. They're funny because they're true. Funny, and an easy read.
Rating: Summary: Don't wet the bed!!! Review: Ray Romano has done it again, this book is a marvel of comedy. Very humorous. I read it all in a few hours. People say cigarettes are addictive, wait until you read this, you will be addicted to this book.
Rating: Summary: Everybody Loves Ray Review: Ray Romano has one of the driest senses of humor in showbiz and it comes across well in his writing debut, Everything & Kite. Mr. Romano's meat and potatoes is family life and, like his TV show, he explores everything from kids, to parenting, to his sex life. His stories on his own childhood and his parents are a scream as is his stories about his sex life. This book will leave you laughing as Mr. Romano goes into situations we all can relate to.
Rating: Summary: Not Just For The Kiddies Review: Romano has a justifiably high reputation as the new Bill Cosby because of his sitcom, but his riotous book isn't just for and about families. His skeptical worldview (and his amused self-knowledge about that worldview) is funny when applied to all manner of subjects that aren't PG-rated. For example, take the word he got to hear his wife use when his father broke into their answering machine and changed their message. Or the line she used on him when he was giving her attitude about being the star of his own TV show. Suffice it to say these nuggets can't br repeated here, and you'd better not have your mouth full when you read them. Hilarious.
Rating: Summary: A little disappointing Review: Since a lot of reviews have already been submitted for this book, I will skip the general background information and launch straight into my opinions. First, the publisher played some games with the book. The spacing and type font make it look much longer than it is. Instead of 209 pages it's really more like 100 pages of material. I understand the realities of business require this kind of thing once in a while, but this book went way too far with the stretching. Second, I thought that a lot of the material was a little stale. I felt like I heard a lot of it before. Otherwise, the book is funny and worthwhile. Don't get me wrong--I'm a big *Everybody Loves Raymond* fan and enjoyed the book. My advice: snag it from the bargain bin
Rating: Summary: If you love Ray, you'll love the book. Review: The book was very enjoyable especially if you can imagine Ray's voice, tone and mannerisms. An audio version with Ray reading the book would be hilarious.
Rating: Summary: FUNNY, FUNNY, FUNNY Review: The funniest book I've read. I was able to relate to Romano's view of life. He gets down to the point with tons of humor. I laughed 'till the end.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious! Review: This book is absolutely hilarious. I reccomend this book to anyone who loves to laugh. You will really enjoy this easy fun read.
