Summary: He lets in the light to closed minds. It's relevant to all.
Review: This is an Everyperson book. Wayne Dyer gives a clear insight into some of the greatest minds of all time and helps you to try and follow the advice of these sages. A great way to find some peace of mind. For an everyday pick-me-up it beats most other things hands down.

Summary: This book was so beautiful that I wept tears of gratitude .
Review: It is said that beauty is the splendor of truth. That's how I felt about this book. I kept crying with joy and gratitude for the beautiful ideas and I plan to propose use of this book in various groups I'm engaged with that we all light the lamp of wisdom within everyone of us. If there is anything we need urgently in these times, it is wisdom. Thank you.

Summary: Wayne Dyer is my hero
Review: Wisdom of the Ages is my favorite book of all time. I have read all books written by Dr. Dyer, but this book changed my life. I read the book as Wayne suggests; one essay each day. I looked forward to waking up and reading the next essay. When I reached the end and read an essay written from his own words, I laughed with tears. I understood was he was saying. I consider him as equal to all of the people in his book. I suggest everyone listen to Wayne Dyer's tapes and read his books. Many people believe in something godlike. I do to. Wayne Dyer is the most godlike spiritual being I have ever met. I now know that I am connected to the spiritual path. What an inspirational person!

Summary: Excellent selections of quotes from great minds
Review: What Wayne Dyer does in this book is to bring together some of the wisest selections he's ever read by theme, and then offers his commentary and analysis on what was written. Selections come from great poets, philosophers, and religous texts. I'd like to xerox them off and put on walls for inspiration.

Summary: The best yet from Dr. Wayne Dyer
Review: Having read everyone of Dr. Wayne Dyer's wonderful books I feel confident when saying that I consider this his best work yet. This is a book that will reach every person at their level of understanding and will propel you to quiet action in your own life. A true treasure.

Summary: Inspirational!
Review: The title of this book truly fits the contents, because he *literally* goes back through the ages, pulling and gleaning wisdom from those that have gone before us. And what a delightful trek it is!

Very insightful, quite educational and totally readable, Dr. Dyer makes "ancient" wisdom applicable today, showing again, that we (humanity) are much more alike than we are different. Read as a whole or as separate little devotionals, it's a wonderful book of inspiration for all of us today.

Summary: A powerful message.
Review: Our world today moves at a breath-taking speed. Dyer allows you to slow down and enjoy life for what life is. I also recommend "Life and Death on the Internet" by Keith A. Schroeder to focus these principles in our Internet connected world.

Summary: Another Miracle From Dr. Wayne Dyer . . .
Review: Dr. Dyer has performed, yet, another literary miracle. His latest creation provides us with a spectacular way of receiving guidance from our great ancestors and then having it put into words that explains how we can actively apply these teachings to our modern lives. When Wayne Dyer writes, it is as if he is communicating through the thoughts and feelings of these various masters. If there is one book that is a 'Must Read For The New Year' -- this book is it!! Namaste! to you dearest Wayne Dyer!!

PS: I also ordered the cassette program for this book that is read by the author. What a wonderful bonus!!

Summary: Applying eternal wisdom in to your daily life
Review: This is the most important book I have published in my entire career. I experienced automatic writing as I worked on this collection of essays interpreting the words of some of the greatest teachers in my life. Not one of these sixty great masters died with their music still in them. They were all people of great passion. My method of completing these essays was to work for a twenty four hour period on each of these chapters. I would wake up very early in the morning and read for eight hours about the lives of the particular person I was writing about on that day. Then I would go for a long walk along the beach and contemplate what I had learned. In the afternoon I would read as much of their work as I could for another eight hours, immersing myself in their writings. After meditating for an hour I would look at a photograph, drawing or engraving of the teacher and I would literally make conscious contact by asking the question, "What would you like to say to those of us who are here on Earth today?" I would then listen and experience automatic writing. It was the most blissful, easy and rewearding experience of my writing career. The result is sixty interpretations of the wisdom of the ages and how you can apply this wisdom in your life, beginning today. The most unique thing about all of these masterful people is refliected in the folowing observation of mine.. Society seems to honor its living conformists and its dead trouble makers. Their message to you is reflected in all of these brief essays..."Don't you dare die with your music still in you."
