Rating: Summary: Fun and funny, bright and vivid. I love this character. Review: This is the best Stephanie Plum book yet. I can't wait for the next one. Anyone who likes funny, romantic, sexy mystery books should read this one!!
Rating: Summary: Great I want more Review: I have read all 4 books and can't wait for high five! I feel like I am there with Stephanie, watching her do everthing in her power to get her man! I'm glad she and joe got it on... Stephanie makes you feel like you are her and this is you going through every bump, hit, bruise, abuse and laughter to get your man or woman. I want to finish reading but, then slow down so that I won't! Lulu is great, Ranger makes me want to go looking for a Ranger to rescue me. The best is when Lulu and Stephanie go to Joe with a dead body in the trunk. I have loaned out my books to my co-workers at work and they all can not wait for book number five to come. Hurry....
Rating: Summary: funny, entertaining, lively, mysterious Review: I wish there had been more with grandma mazur, she is just a great character.
Rating: Summary: Steph Plum, and her outrageous pack will tickle unmercifully Review: Tough/soft Stephanie Plum, cyncally destined to unravel the most preposterous crimes, in spite of her stumbling, gun-toting "gang" of misfits, leads you on a side splitting chase through the back alleys of Trenton NJ.
Rating: Summary: Better than the last!! Review: I have seldom read a book that caused me to laugh out loud as often. When that tire got shot out, I just about wet my pants. I love Stephanie and all of her assorted family and friends. Janet makes you think you understand all about Trenton, New Jersey, and the people that live there. I can't help but think that some of these people actually exist. That they are not just fictional characters in a book. The flavor is Trenton is tasty! Anyway, I can't wait for the fifth book. I hope Joe and Stephanie keep on going and work out a way to be together.
Rating: Summary: Another Stephanie Plum that I could not put down Review: I took "Four to Score" on a business trip and read it on a airplane from Denver to Boston. I spent so much time laughing out loud that all the people around me copied down the title and author. A man sitting across the aisle from me tried to buy my copy ( I finished it just before we got into Boston). Of course it was not for sale!!If you like your mysteries to be hard hitting and humerous with a little romance sprinkled in, this is the series for you. I'd also start reading with the first book in the series "One for the Money" and read them in order for the greatest enjoyment of Stephanie Plum. Oh how I wish Ms. Evanovich could write as fast as I can read I can't wait to get my copy of Five......
Rating: Summary: More, please don't stop now Review: How the author ever came up with such a sassy group, I don't know. Lula, Stephanie and Ranger are fantasic and the acion is non-stop. When she finally makes connections with Morelli, sparks really fly. What a great book.
Rating: Summary: A REALLY GREAT BOOK!! Review: I have read all of Ms. Evanovich's books, but this was my favorite. It is one of the funniest books ever. Recently my husband had an accident and was house bound. So I had him read all of the books. He is now a die hard fan. This was also his favorite. The charactors Ms. Evanovich creates are so real.I HIGHLY recommend this book. You'll be hooked.
Rating: Summary: Not the strongest plot, but one HOT romance! Review: This isn't the best in the series, but even a moderate Stephanie Plum book is better than 95% of the books out there! Grandma Morelli and her evil eye are something I definitely want more of in the future, but I hope we've seen the last of Sally, and that Joyce will be in jail -- or an FTA -- in future episodes. The sheer evil of (hiss!) Joyce should not be diluted by extended appearances! The thing that made this book sing to me was the romance -- finally, finally! But the mystery plot was weak in comparison. Is there some way to give us plot and romance in equal parts in the future? (And is there any way to have Stephanie and Ranger get together without losing the mystery of the Batman? He's promised her one night, and he doesn't seem the kind of man to go back on his word.) After a year in the biz I would hope Stephanie's self-defense training would be a little better than shown, and that she wouldn't drag incompetents (but funny guys all) around with her during the more dangerous parts of her work. And I really hope that Grandma Morelli's baby prediction won't come true! (Glad to see attention given to safe sex practice, Janet.) As usual, I laughed and laughed -- nothing gives such pleasure as a Plum story!
Rating: Summary: Best and funniest I've read in years. Review: I found these books in my local library by accident and its the best accident I've had in years. I too laughed out loud many times and have only read 3 and 4. So many of the situations Janet Evanovich describes are real to me that it seems that at time she must be reading my mind! As an example, her attitude to ironing!
