Summary: I couldn't read it fast enough. I laughed until I cried.
Review: I read the first three and couldn't wait for this one. I'm a cheapskate, so the fact that I bought it in hardback should tell you a lot. Lulu and Grandma Mazur are hysterical. I can't think of another author I have loved so much. I like the love scenes between Stephanie and Morelli, but I would love to see Stephanie and Ranger get serious enough to spark Morelli's jealousy. He's beginning to get on my nerves with his on again, off again love. I'm on the list at the library for HIGH FIVE.

Summary: Janet continues to make my day! This book is hysterical!
Review: Ms. Evanovich a.k.a. Stephanie--bounty hunter-- continues to entertain with the addition of a great future romance with dreaded "Morelli". With Grandma, Lula, Ranger and the other crew, Ms. Evanovich has you laughing from first page to the last. I have read each book in the series and am looking forward to reading her next book. P.S. I have pre-ordered. I can't wait!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A disappointing book in this fun series.
Review: The fourth book in this series is a real disappointment. The language was unnecessarily rough. Why did Evanovich feel she needed to include such raw language in her book? It distracts from the story. The story was fine on its own; it was entertaining and adventuresome. Why ruin a great mystery with language that doesn't fit the series at all?

Summary: A lot of explicit sex
Review: A lot of explicit sex, which doesn't bother me. In fact it's excellent sex writing but you might need to be careful who you recommend it to. Stephanie Plums keep getting better and better, though. I keep waiting for the clunker but they keep improving.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Might Not Be For Everyone
Review: I enjoyed all of Ms. Evanovich's previous novels, but I think she went a little overboard with the trashy language and raunchy sex in the first half of this one. The likable characters are here, as well as her trademark humor, but the story itself is unremarkable. I have been telling my sister what a wonderful author Janet Evanovich is and promised to send Four To Score to her as soon as I finished it, but I'm having second thoughts. I think I'll recommend the first three books to her instead.

Summary: Great unabridged audiotape version at the library
Review: Amazon needs to locate to the unabridged audio version of this novel. It was very well read and simply delightful. I was laughing out loud driving down the street! Janet Evanovich is so skilled at descriptive language, that I had a wonderful mental picture of all the characters and actions. If you've ever been the the Jersey coast, she really captures the environment in words. Great book!

Summary: It was hysterical.
Review: I love her writing. It's fast, funny, sexy and entertaining. Her characters are really creative. The only criticism of this book is that "Granny" and her gun aren't in it enough!

Please write a new Stephanie Plum novel soon and bring back Sally Sweet. He's a keeper of a character.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Priceless!
Review: There's no point repeating the wonderful things said in the previous 80+ reviews. But one thing's for sure - Stephanie Plum and company are simply au parfait!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Easily as good as any "cozy" by Carolyn Hart or Sue Grafton.
Review: Anyone who lives in a big city in the Northeast will enjoy the characters and neighborhoods described in this book. As Stephanie tries to find and bring back a bail jumper, you follow her through Trenton, NJ streets and down to the shore. The people are like people I know. I have read and enjoyed the first 3 of Ms. Evanovich's books. I find myself going slowly with this one because I don't want to lose touch with the characters. There are enough plot lines to keep anyone interested, if the characters aren't enough. But Stephanie's trials and tribulations keep me turning the pages.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Made Me Laugh Out Loud
Review: I have read all four of the Stephanie Plum series. Reading this one I kept laughing out loud. Stephanie manages to get into so much trouble, and is such a strong-willed character. Joe Morrelli, Grandma Mazur and Ranger are great characters, too. Can't wait for the next one...
