Summary: Good but.....
Review: Communion With God brings home the major points of the CWG books. That confirms each of us are One and we can certainly make a major difference in our own experience and of the world also, if we choose to.

Points are repetatively introduced from many different perspectives. Which makes the reading tedious once you get the point. For this reason I gave the book only two stars.

Summary: more new age shallowness
Review: As I began to read this book, I was thinking, "what is so new about talking to God"? Not a new concept. As I read more I realized much of the author's assumptions about God are based on poor research of various faiths and a blending of incompatable teachings. However, this is of no concern, since in the author's view, all of us are God. In his view talking to ourselves is talking to God . And since most people talk to themselves already, I don't think they need to buy a book telling them how.

Summary: love is the power force of the universe.
Review: So relieved to see that a poor misguided devil dodger read the CWG series [see earlier review]and still couldn't understand that god is within, not without ,and that he doesnt look like an old cranky and jealous man who is always chastising us,sitting up there inthe heavens in a really big high chair just waiting for someone to stuff up.The incredible success of the cultural religions that are destroying our humanity astound me.Books like this should replace the Bible ,Koran etc and maybe humanity will appreciate that we are all one and we don't need to survive on guilt, fear and terror of our own shadow.Read this ...you must....discover that you already know. Also read the P'taah books by Janni King, the astounding Australian channeller, and the Seth books as well as countless others and you will realise ....God ..I am !!... you ,we, all, create our own reality ,just as Neil donald Walsch did ...walk forward in love.

Summary: An amazing, powerful, life-altering book
Review: This is the best work since CWG Book 1. The book's message -- that we are all connected and that we are all one with God -- is delivered in an incredibly powerful way. The final chapter is one of the most inspirational and empowering pieces of writing I've ever read. I highly recommend this book!

Summary: The best so far
Review: Like many of the others who have written their thoughts about the lastest in the CWG series, I found this one to have the most personally profound enlightenment for my own place in the search for who I am. I could not read more than a page or two at a time without having to pause to reflect upon the messages and knowledge presented in a very clear and concise manner.

I highly recomment this work along with all of the other works in this series to anyone who is looking for some direction in their life and an explanation of why everything is at it appears to each of us.

Summary: Cant't Wait for MORE
Review: God is on a roll here, as He continues to channel His spirit and wisdom into the pen of Neale Walsch. I'm delighted that God has chosen to speak to us all through Neale. I can't wait for more... I just quiver in anticipation of titles like, "Abducted by God," "Outdoor Grilling with God," "Financial Planning with God," "God's Guide to America's Best Family Resorts," and yes, dare I even mention it..."Understanding Microsoft Windows with God???" Great job Neale...er... I mean God!

Summary: Simply the Best
Review: Yes, God did it again. This is one of the best books that I've ever read. It was written smartly and poetic as always. It's perfect and beyond... a very good choice for anyone.

Summary: Welcome to the New Age
Review: God speaks "through" Walsch with many "insights" which appeal to our hungry, empty souls. He taps into the spiritual vacuum of our culture. However, I would just caution anyone who considers him/herself a Christian: The basic message of this series of books is that one can feel good about doing what one wishes, since there is no objective sin. This premise is irreconcilable with Christianity, as it is in direct opposition to the message of the Gospel (read Jesus' words in the Bible, and see how often he speaks of the REALITY of sin and hell, good and evil, truth and lies- Matt.7:13-14 for just one example. He asks us to love the true God, not a false one of our own making.)

People are free to pursue a New Age theology if they wish, but it's wrong to mislead folks. So much of Walsch's work is designed to make Christians think this book is somehow compatible with their Faith in Christ Jesus. It is not.

To judge the difference for yourself, try reading Handbook of Christian Apologetics, by Peter Kreeft and Ronald Tacelli; Mere Christianity, by C.S. Lewis; and for those who want a real challenge to their intellect, try Orthodoxy by G.K. Chesterton.

Summary: Hits the nail on the head!!
Review: This book is the perfect culmination to the series. Walsch (God) carefully strips away the illusions that we have lived under for so long. And at the same time, the illusions and how we have created them make sense. It was like digging a deeper and deeper hole, and now we can get out of it!! This book offers more of the honesty that we so desperately need in our society. Hopefully, more and more will sit up and take notice and be willing to transcend these illusions!

Summary: The 5th one is the best!
Review: As much as I have enjoyed reading the whole CWG series, this one stands out for me. While the other ones have laid the foundation for an entirely new way to think, this one shows us how to really live! Live for ourselves, for each other and for God. In only seven sentences, it has captured me in a way that no other book has. While I read this book I really began to feel that this was written for me, by me. The words began to ring true as if suddenly someone had turned on a switch. This book has a wonderful pro-active message: We are responsible for ourselves, each other and bringing the world together to go forward. It details beautifully how we can lead fulfilled lives. By sidestepping our man-made illusions and co-existing with them, but not living "within" them. It teaches us how to identify illusions and to accept them and to ultimately decide for ourselves. This book has the power to change people's lives, to change the collective consciousness and to reawaken "our" spirit. Words cannot illustrate fully the marvelous impact this book can have. I would recommend this book,(and all the other CWG books)to anyone and everyone. We can change the world, and with the information in this book, we can make it happen. It is up to us.
