Summary: This book has changed my life!
Review: The "Ten Time Periods" and "Love Vitamin" information has helped me understand what I have been going through during my recent Mid-Life crisis. I have never meditated before but using the simple phrase Dr. Gray teaches in his book, 15 min twice a day and I feel like a new person. Thank you Dr. Gray for the new energized, positive, loving ME!

Summary: Save your money
Review: I gave this book two stars because the pages didn't fall out. If they had, one page more than would have covered all of the important or worthy advice this book had to offer. I felt that I was reading the same paragraph over and over, reworded a bit so it would pertain to the chapter title. When I got to the part about filling my love tanks, I wanted to throw the book in the trash but decided to tough it out. I skimmed the balance of the book trying to find something worthwhile, but to no avail. Perhaps Oprah should start reading the books she pushes. If you want to learn how to appreciate yourself, good and bad, try The Dark Side of the Light Chasers. Unless you like drivel about your love tanks.

Summary: Many will Benefit
Review: This is his best book yet. These spiritual truths that work have been inexcessable. Now he has put them in layman language. Many will benefit.

Summary: His earlier books on Mars-Venus are superior
Review: After enjoying Gray's Mars Venus titles, I expected more of that good interpersonal stuff. This was disappointing. Too much new age and Eastern meditation. Thought that went out in the '70's. Bring back vintage John Gray.

Summary: Excellent book, inspirational, healing
Review: I found Dr. Gray's book inspirational and healing. He reminds us that true happiness really lies within us all not outside of us and is within the reach of each one of us. This book helped me feel the power inside myself and stop feeling angry that I have no power to get what is outside. The Feeling Letter is a very powerful tool that has helped me release feelings with people in my life that cannot give me what I need. I can now give that to myself. Dr. Gray's meditations have helped my find my inner peace and strength. This book can help anyone who truly wants to find peace and happiness in their life.

Summary: It's not what I want
Review: What I want are ladies, and lots of 'em. This book does NOT have the advice I need.

Summary: Empowering work!! Only for sincere success seekers!
Review: This book unveils powerful, yet simple truths about life how to get what we want. It can quickly strip away self-created, unconscious blocks to achieving personal success. Dr. Gray reveals, in an easy-to-read manner, practical steps and information that propels one into a new realm of awareness and experience. I am shocked at just how effective these exercises can be!! Since this book and his seminar, I can hardly keep up with the new opportunities available to me. The book suggests valuable guidelines for the inner work that has brought tremendous peace and love in my life. My dreams always seemed like "pie in the sky", just out of reach, but now they are coming true. Hats off to Dr. Gray for sharing his astounding wisdom with us once again.

Summary: Almost As Good As His Mars and Venus Books
Review: This guy has got his finger on the pulse of society's collective emotions. His Mars and Venus books not only helped me with my relationship but in my work also. I didn't know what to expect with this book, but I found his other books helpful, so I figured, "Why not?"

Dr. Gray really explains how we tend to be our own worst enemies (blocks) when it comes to personally defining whether or not we are successful. Although it seems simple, he explains how we can learn to enjoy the degree of success we are currently experiencing and still strive for more in a healthy, balanced way! Even if you don't agree with all of his methods to help balance your perspective, you have to agree that it is a good and necessary thing to do.

About the only thing I didn't like was the photo of him on the cover, he looked like some pasty old man who was "touched up" to disguise hair loss. My spouse and I were at one of his seminars last year (1998) and he was full of vim and vigor, in fact he kept going long after his audience had given out.

Summary: Outstanding guide for healing personal blocks
Review: As a therapist, I find this book to be an excellent and profound guide to helping clients heal their own personal blocks to success. It offers hope to those who feel stuck and hopeless and provides simple and effective tools that people can apply on their own and/or with the guidance of a therapist. Thanks, Dr. Gray!

Summary: One of the most inspiring, well organized books ever!
Review: After watching Dr. Gray on Oprah in the fall of '98, I feel so relieved to have this book. It outlines for me how to get unstuck, get on with my life, appreciate what I have, and to know know that I can have what I want!. It is readable, with easy and practical steps to making effective changes! Once again, thanks, John Gray.
