Summary: Simply Unforgettable
Review: I have read a lot of books and the majority of them are forgotten within a week or so of completing them. Totally not so with "Cry No More". It is up there with the best books I have ever read (a group of maybe 4 or 5 books) on a special place on my bookshelf. It is just one of those stories you can't put down, and you can't get it out of your mind. It's hard to pinpoint just what it is that is so compelling about this book. Somewhere along the way I realized it wasn't really your average mystery, or romance type novel, it was more like a character study of the main character, Milla. Her strength during some parts was unbelievable, and then you are also shown how human and real she is. Buy this book and have your Kleenex handy, this is definitely worth the hardback investment!

Review: I'm a fan of Linda Howard - have read all of her books, but this one is by far my favorite. I won't summarize since that's been done, but wanted to add my 5-stars to her book. I loved this one.

Review: Milla Edge/Boone. James Diaz. Great people. Great read. Not your standard suspense/romance/action book. Would have loved more background on Diaz, but maybe he just didn't have more than we got. The story pulled me in from the first chapter. Definitely worth the hardcover price. Enjoy!

Summary: Hooray For this Book
Review: This is the best Linda Howard novel I have ever read. It starts with the heroine searching for her missing son after he is kidnapped literally from her arms while being viciously assaulted by the kidnappers. There are amazing twists and turns in this novel so you will never be bored. In Fact, you may find yourself up all night reading. This a truly wonderful book.

Summary: Decent read--but definitely NOT Howard¿s best work
Review: Maybe it was my high expectations-Howard normally delivers wonderful stories and characters-but this book was disappointing. My main issue lies with the male lead. Howard tried to make him appear like the "ultimate badboy," an iceman, a relentless hunter who did what needed to be done without hesitation or remorse. He ended up coming across like a robot, though. While there were a few moments where Diaz actually showed a potential for depth, the great majority of time he seemed to have less personality than a plank of wood. His lines were dispensed without expression and the reader was usually left simply with Milla's interpretation of his supposed feelings. Beyond this, I have a major issue with the Susanna-True ending. Howard seemed to aim for a realistic finish, but she ended up with one that was anti-climactic and inadequate.
I gave her three stars because, even with these serious flaws, the book still easily trounces other romance novels. Compared to her other works, though...it was definitely not her best.

Review: I read this after reading "Open Season" Did the same author write both books? Linda Howard writes such excellent books most of the time and "Cry No More" was definately one of her best. This book had a great story along with the sexy charactors. That sure helps, it was hard to put down till I finished.

Review: The book jacket made this book sound like a great thriller!!
It had all the components- a terrible kidnapping, a mother bent on finding her son and avenging his kidnapping.
I don't know how to start about how disappointed I was in this book!! There were grisly murders going on with harvesting of organs and black market babies and horrible one-eyed killers and dark and mysterious men but there was more attention paid to the sex expoits , especially with the solitary men. When the two people who ran the organ harvesting and baby snatching ring were caught it was dealt with in one sentence!!!
The most poignant scene is Milla and the adoptive parents.
Diaz is an unbelievable character - just way too over the top - this is not a thriller for readers who want a thrilling tale- if you like an unreal romance novel - GO FOR IT!! I can't recommend this book.
