Summary: Think positive, buy supplements and results follow...
Review: It looks like Bill Phillips is squeezing all he can out of his followers. Pick up any issue of MuscleMedia and you can find the same information (it doesn't take much thought to realize why MuscleMedia sales are at their lowest levels in years). This information has been rehashed by Mr. Phillips time and time again (and by countless others before him). Bill Phillips fancies himself a new age fitness guru ready to help you if you help him buy his new Lamborghini. Some of MuscleMedia's former writers have started a web site with good insight into this industry (steroids, steroids, steroids).

Summary: What about V2G, CLA, and the extra special glutamine GKG.
Review: Someone may benefit from this book but it is mostly a basic excercise book with a large dose of Anthony Robbins tossed in (with a sprinkle of Jay Abraham, Marketing Guru to the Stars). You could summarize the whole book by recommending; 1. Vary your strength training every three weeks. 2. Eat more protein (only Myoplex if you want quick results and an unreliable Italian car). 3. Do interval training for fat loss.

and number 4 if you need a number 4- Watch Oprah every Friday.

Summary: Fitness simplified - this program WORKS for everyBODY!
Review: I read the recent excerpt on this book and found this to be utterly profound. If you have ever been looking for a simple to understand formula for success to any life long struggle in having your body look the best it possibly can -- this is your book. Bill Phillips is widely known for success in his magazine Muscle Media and his nutrition supplement company Experimental and Allied Sciences. He ALWAYS take a practical perspective and provides information the average person can understand -- and not in body builder-speak only.

I greatly look forward to reading the entire book and greatly encourage you to buy it today - at least take a look at the excerpt mentioned previously. If you've ever spend money on special supplements, a personal trainer, or worked out and not found the results you wanted -- if you're ready to make MASSIVE changes in your appearance and you've decided to make that change NOW... BUY THIS BOOK! I GUANENTEE IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Summary: You won't regret to buy it!!
Review: Bill Phillips is one of the best in his field of work. This is evident in the advise that he presents in his book. Recently, I read an excerpt article on Musclemedia Magazine, and it really motivated me to workout. It gave you a walkthrough of how you should plan your workouts, how you can improve the quality of them, and it also presented some forms that you can use to keep track of your progress. I think that with his advise and one's true efforts anyone can achieve the body they truly deserve.

Summary: DO NOT HESITATE TO GET THIS BOOK!!
Review: I have read the Sneak Preview in Muscle Media and am recent "graduate" of the Body of Work challenge. This is not just a book about getting in shape but a way for you to make permanent, healthy lifestyle changes! Bill Phillips offers solid advice and direction for 12 weeks to a better YOU! (I went from a size 12 to a size 4! And never felt better in my life!) IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE - I GUARANTEE IT!

Summary: Ingenious and simple all at one time.
Review: Bill Phillips has been saying each and every one of these principle for some time now. The only difference between then and now is how he has packaged them all together. Before, Bill always relied on the reader to apply all ideas. He has come up a program for everyone from the experienced weightlifter to a person who just put on their first pair of gym shorts. He is the role model for drug-free bodybuilding.

Summary: beginners will love this book--everyone else--don't buy!!!
Review: Philips book deserves 1 star mainly because its filled up with way too much insprational bull--as is Muscle Media magazine these days. His program is extremely basic and , while good for beginners, is close to nothing for experianced lifters. In mymind this book is basically a catalog/promotion for that physique transformation thing of his--god knows how many times he tells us to use Myoplex (don't even get me started on "HMB feels like Deca").

Summary: The Master of Motivation?
Review: You hear many people claiming something has "changed their life". I always used to shrug off such claims with the proverbial grain of salt. Then, after I had been training with weights for over a decade (and getting no further progress) I started actually READING Bill's magazine "Muscle Media". I mean READING and not just looking at the photograps (which in themselves are the best in the fitness market bar none). Then I noticed something happening. Of course my body changed. I lost unwanted body fat. I became stronger and healthier. But something else unexpected happened. I gained a positive outlook on my life and the lives of others. Where once I was stuck with my head in a black cloud, complaining, blaming everyone but myself for my lack of progress in my training, my job - in short my LIFE, now Bill has made me realise that I too have the power to do great things with my life. Great things for myself and others. I ordered his "Body of Work" video. Rather than paying for it, all Bill asked was that I make a donation to the "Make a Wish" foundation. I did this the day I watched the video. It is by far the BEST training and inspirational video I have EVER seen on the subject of training and nutrition. Professionally produced, informative yet entertaining. I laughed, I cried, I became motivated like never before. I strongly urge you to buy this book, I have pre-ordered it, I know Bill doesn't lie. I know he delivers not only what he says he will, but also things you can not put a price tag on, like a positive outlook, a reservoir of personal energy and self confidence. One day Bill will be quoted along with Lombardi as one of the all time great coaches not only of the body - but also of the mind. My outlook is so positive I recently dug myself out of the rut I was in and got a new job. The job I WANTED. Bill, I owe you a great debt - more power to you. Harry Farnill.

Summary: DECIDED TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE? A MUST READ!!!
Review: I've been reading MuscleMedia for over a year now and was procrastinating about getting in shape. But last month I open the MuscleMedia magazine and start reading Bill's book sneak preview and it completely motivate me to start working out. Now I feel like an all new man and people are asking what happen to the couch boy I was! Thank you Bill; your book will sure be the best I'll read for a long time!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Well worth the time for beginner or fitness veteran
Review: As usual, Phillips has created something of value in the fitness and bodybuilding realm. I have yet to find a publication or supplement product produced by Bill that does live up to its claims. If you've been working out for years without noticeable changes or have decided to finally get in shape, invest some time in this book, "muscle media" magazine and the EAS.COM website...you'll be glad you did.
