Rating: Summary: If you read one book this summer, read Body for Life! Review: Even as an avid reader of Muscle Media and other publishings by Bill Phillips, I just can not wait for this book to come out. I have so much high praise for Mr. Phillips not just because of the dramatic change in the shape of my body by using his techniques, but he has changed my whole outlook on life. I will recemend this book to anyone who wants to change their lifestyle and physique.
Rating: Summary: A load of BS!!! Review: What is so different about this book and ANY magazine you buy at the good ol' corner store. Muscle Media includes basically the same material month after month just in different wording,(Can't come up with the words this month EH.)As does his book!!! How many times do we have to be told that working out can make us feel great, and that it takes great disclipine to become what we want!!!
Rating: Summary: Motivating and VERY powerful!! Review: I had the opportunity to read a brief sample from the current MM magazine and can't wait to read the actual book. Bill Phillips is, to me, a very inspirational person, and I can honestly say that he's provided me with the motivation and resources to transform my physique. Since my completion of the 1998 Physique Transformation Contest, I have progressed even further and also earned a Personal Trainer certification so that I can help others. I can guarantee that if you buy his book, you won't be disappointed. How can you go wrong. He's promised to refund the entire book cost if not satisfied.
For the negative people, you can't make yourself better by TRYING to take someone else down. Get serious.....
Rating: Summary: Should be titled, "My Products for Life." Review: Old Bill has done it again! He's managed to repackage the same information he's been dishing out in his magazine for the last few years, but in a longer, more expensive, hardcover version.

Review: And that not only describes Bill Phillips powerful presentation in his book "Body-for-Life", but it's also the way you will look and feel after following his simple yet result-getting 12-week routine. Bill always stands behind what he says and he's always right on target. My hat is off to you, Mr. Phillips. I thank you for all the incredible advice you've unselfishly given your readers; and now through your book, many more may achieve the wondrous transformation in their lives as I have.
Rating: Summary: Bill offers a well developed plan! Review: Once again Bill inspires and motivates us. What a great idea. I got so excited when I read the preview I started working out at 2:30am in the morning! Great book, great cause, great guy. If anyone is wanting to change their body or someone who just cant find that motivation to stay with it in the gym, this book is for you. Just the first few chapters will change your life.
Rating: Summary: Bill is the most knowledegable man towards weightlifting.. Review: I am a 17 year old student athlete that plays basketball, football, and track. After reading Bill's new book, I had a much better understanding of how to excel to reach my goals. Body for Life is an easy to read book that should be purchased by everyone who is serious about being fit.
Rating: Summary: Bill has done us all a huge favor...removed all excuses! Review: I remember Mr. Phillips mentioning that he wanted to remove the dark shadow that loomed over "bodybuilding" as a sport. In my opinion he has done just that and so much more. His lifestyle philosophies ring true for everyone. His research and expertise that he himself has obtained, as well as that which he has recruited for this book are awesome and it puts the power of this knowledge in our hands! I've used his training intesity principles and challenge anyone to try them. I don't see how positive results can be avoided! How great is that? I have always loved fitness, and have used and heard every excuse known to man in explaining why I haven't been successful in achieving my goals. This book addresses ALL of them, and makes it painfully obvious that the only reason left for our lack of fitness is a simple lack of desire within ourselves. Maybe this is not what some want to hear. I believe it needs to be understood. It doesn't take any magic or any wonderful genes to create a beautiful and healthy body. Bill has said it many times, "Everyone has their own Best Body!" This book will show you how to bring it out!
Rating: Summary: Too bad! Review: Don't be fooled by Bill Philips. If you wanna get a EAS catalogue, you can ask it for free on the EAS homepage. The book contains very simple routines and a lot of biassed advices about nutrition. The guy even advices you to take three servings of Myoplex a day...He should write a book about marketing or business, not about fitness. If you are serious about getting fit, learn how eat right instead of spending hundreds of dollars every month on supplements as he advices.
Rating: Summary: Detailed, easy to follow, informative and enjoyable. Review: This book inspired me to great heights. Things I never thought possible were easily acheived. Bill Philips explains all you need to know in easy, enjoyable scripture. He tells you the truth about what it takes to become "YOUR BEST". He has definetely changed the way I look at life, EXCELLENT.
