Review: This is hands down one of the best 30-something books I have ever read! It was hysterical! Also, I just love the way the author made me feel as though I was traveling right beside Cannie throughout the entire book. When I started getting close to the end of the book, I started reading only a few pages a day because I didn't want it to end! I would definitely recommend this book. A++++++++

Summary: Fun light read with some wisdom on the side
Review: After reading some very disappointing books, I was looking for a fun light read that had love, laughter and plain old day dreams. I found what I was seeking with Good In Bed. I laughed out loud at times and felt pain for the main character at other times too. I like the lesson that the reader is supposed to take from this... live your life for yourself and be happy. Cannie is a strong and fiesty character. I really enjoyed this book and the other characters as well. If you are just looking for a fun enjoyable read with some life lessons on the side, you'll like this book. One reviewer was disappointed in this book and the title. I kind of see how the title can be misleading, but having read the book, I know it isn't based on someone being good in bed, but the name of the article her ex wrote about her. Also, the main character, Cannie, did not lose 80 lbs in the end. She did lose weight, but then she realized she liked herself better the way she was.. she was more comfortable and more healthy. This book isn't about a over weight chick that loses weight and in the end is happy. This book is about a chick that finds out she likes herself no matter how she looks.

Review: I really enjoyed Good In Bed, by Jennifer Weiner. I only thought that the ending could be developed more. I wonder what happened to all of the characters. It was a great read, I couldn't put it down!

Summary: Don't let the title put you off
Review: I just loved this book. I don't know how many times I picked it up and looked at it at the bookstore without buying it. Finally, someone gave it to me and after reading it, I wish I had bought it the first time. Weiner has a gift for describing the painful, messy, emotional aspects of life. I laughed out loud and I cried as if my heart would break. I've also read Weiner's second book, In Her Shoes, and while I didn't find it quite as affecting as Good in Bed, I eagerly await future books from this exciting new voice in fiction.
