Summary: Loving a Larger Book....
Review: For anyone who has ever felt that their body was less than perfect or ideal, and for anyone who has ever regreted a breakup even though it was the right decision, this book will really strike a chord. I especially enjoyed the fact that, although there are tear-jerker moments in this book, it is also filled with witty, fun, realistic moments that make it more than just a sappy feel-good story. This book is exceptionally well written and has a lot of substance, but does not take itself too seriously. I hope that Jennifer Weiner's subsequent novels are as good as this one.

Summary: This larger woman loved it!
Review: There have been few books in my life where I connect with a main character so quickly, no more so than Good in Bed and Cannie. I have been battling my weight and self-image for the better part of my life, I'm a writer and have felt the dissapointment of an absent father. That was enough for me to read the book, but I found so much more once I got into the story. The humor is laugh out loud funny, especially the Weight Watchers diatribe. Her feelings towards men were heartfelt and true to life, and some parts were heartbreaking, but in a good way. I know I've rambled, but believe me, read this book!

Review: Truely one of the funniest books I have ever read and one of the only ones that didnt make me feel like a whale for not being a size 6. Cannie is truely the new 21st century heroine, and Jennifer Weiner wrote the bible on how to feel great about yourself and life.

Summary: Cannie is a perfect "10"
Review: Jennifer Weiner captures the essence of the true "American Girl" in Cannie Shapiro. It was refreshing to read a novel in which the heroine struggles with her physical image instead of the ones where she has the perfect body, hair, eyes etc. This book had me laughing, crying, screaming and cheering. The only disappointment for me was that the book ended...I loved it so much I didn't want it to end. I can't wait to read "In Her Shoes". Thanks Jennifer keep up the good work!!

Summary: IT WAS REALLY GOOD - - UNTIL THE END
Review: This was a really good book that I couldn't keep my eyes off until the end. I loved all the characters in the book, and the story line of tragedy and triumph, but the end didn't make sense to me, was predictable, and to me, just didn't belong. It left me wondering.....I really wasn't sure it was the end. This is a good book, with a good story line, it just could have been better.

Summary: A Good Book
Review: I have to admit that I liked this book, although I thought it was going to turn out completely different than the book actually did. The book takes a turn that you are not expecting and not sure how things are going to turn out. Everybody likes a book that is unpredictable, right? Cannie has to deal with the breakup of her boyfriend Bruce who also write about their relationship in a magazine column, making things all the more difficult to cope with. When the unexpected happens to Cannie it changes her life about half way through the book - she is faced with many decisions. This book had me laughing but then there were time I found myself cursing other characters in the book - especially the pusher. All and all I though this was a good book and will definitely by reading Jennifer Weiner's other book In Her Shoes soon.

Review: Good in Bed is an absolutely wonderful book that shows you that your body, and your life do not have to be perfect for you to find happiness, and joy. I hope everyone that reads this book will enjoy it as much as I did.

Review: I LOVED THIS BOOK! I could not wait to find out what was going to happen but when I got towards the end I didn't want to finish because I enjoyed reading it so much. This book kept me laughing and nodding my head in agreement with so many of the situations, friends and foes. I would HIGHLY reccommend this book to ALL, especially to women with a few spare pounds hanging around. READ THIS BOOK, YOU'LL LOVE IT!
