Summary: Desecration of writing ethics
Review: Authors are SUPPOSED to take care of their readers...give them what they shelled out hard earned cash to get...ENTERTAINMENT. This installment is a prime example of exploiting a good idea for cash.
For a good end times novel, try Stephen King's "The Stand." If that's too secular for you, try new novelist Christine Hilger's "A Force of Habit" She is a crafted storyteller who will take you on an adventure where good and evil battle with beautiful prose, and take the time to surprise you with the ending.

Summary: Keep it alive..
Review: First I have to say I love the series and hope they continue to create these wonderful books. I do have to say this is the shortest time duration of any of the books but still very action packed. I hope they do not move away from the scripture just for action sake. I truly hope they finish the 7 years with more wonderful books.

Summary: Descecration
Review: First of all I loved the book and the series. I feel it is great that in this time Christian novels are Best Sellers. I did feel that this was the most time condensed book as of yet and the loss of several of the key characters has me worried about future books to come. I hope they continue with 9 more. I spend the time in between wanting the next book that when I get it I usually read it in one sitting and then have to wait again.

Summary: Fair
Review: This book was probably one of the worst of the left behind series. It is simply too predictable. The Anti christ is very stupid in the book. One of my favorite parts of the other books is the fact that Carpathia was sneaky and devious. In the other books I found it fascinating to read about how one man could manipulate the would to accepting a one world dictatorship. In this book Carpathia seems too obviously evil. Take for example the last line of the book. However, I must give Lahaye and Jenkins credit. It is hard to write about the Tribulation. They have to make events that are already destined to happen into a entertaining novel. Lastly, the left behind movie may have been better made into a TV series. The style of the books are more TVish then movish.

Summary: Can't wait for the next installment!!!!
Review: I enjoyed the this installment as much or more than the last one. Mr. Jenkins makes it very difficult to put a book down, no matter how late it is. The ending left me on the edge of my seat. The only bad thing about these books is that you have to wait so long for the next one. I guess I'll have to reread them all until the next one comes out.

Summary: The best so far.
Review: It took me 2 days to read this book. I wold have read it faster had I had all day to myself. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

Summary: Dying a slow death
Review: Reading this series has become painful! There is so little content, so little suspense and thrills that I have a difficult time staying engaged. What little substance there is to "Desecration" could be summed up in a few chapters. Literally! (...)

Summary: A revelation from a human standpoint
Review: I really like this series of books, because they talk about the Book of Revelation and what takes place in it. But the authors take it to a new level, they make it easy for anyone to see what the Book of Revelation is telling us. The authors do it in such a way that you can put yourself in one of the characters shoes, anyone from Chloe to Ben-Judah or anyone else for that matter. I personally have been waiting for some sort of explanation like this that I can relate to, and it makes me that much more knowledgeable to know what it is I want to be doing between now and when the Rapture happens, because I don't want to be LEFT BEHIND.

Summary: Slow Desecration
Review: The book is fictional , of course, but it is still
following closely the Old Testament book of Daniel
and the New Testament book of Revelation.
This book jumps around so much that it is hard to recall
who is who and where they are and what they are doing.
Alittle slow to get to the point, but I can imagine if
someone got left behind and lived through the
Tribulation , it would get a little slow at times.
Lahaye and Jenkins know the subject well. (...)

Summary: Disapointed...
Review: I'm beginning to think the authors need to get a shot of adrenaline when writing because this book was SOOOOO slow... it was borderline boring, surprisingly predictable, and way too easy to put down.

I miss the action and adventure of the first five books, I'm starting to feel like the publishers and/or authors are dragging this out into who-knows-how-many books for purposes of PROFIT more than purposes of advancing what was an exciting and wonderful story...

I hope the next book in the series is more satisfying - actually, I hope they have so much happen in the next book that it can be the LAST book, because one thing is for sure: If the next book is as disapointing as this one was, I'm not bothering with the series anymore.
