Summary: A great vicarious exp. as Kelly (Clark) eliminates bad boys.
Review: I enjoyed this book. Clancy contrasts very well the mood evoked by the Chesapeake Bay (for those of us who know it) with that of the mean streets of Baltimore. I enjoyed the 2-level plot, wherein Kelly is dealing with drug-dealing dirt-bags on the one hand, and his mission to Vietnam on the other. The plot was realistic--the professional manner in which Kelly carries out his dual missions was, I thought, very thoroughly thought out and presented. I enjoyed also his portrayals of the American and Russian spooks, and the Russian Air Force colonel. My main complaint with Clancy's writing occurs when he's trying to convey tender love thoughts towards the women in Kelly's life--too much syrup (of the corn type). I don't think that subject is Clancy's forte'. Otherwise, this would make a great movie, as good as "Clear and Present Danger".

Summary: One of Tom Clancy's Best
Review: Tom Clancy told a very real, very human story. It was a great read and anyone who calles themselves a Tom Clancy fan should read this book. FIVE STARS for Mr. Clancy

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: would make a good movie
Review: Tom Clancy should stick with playing with his Tec-9 in the basement of his mansion, instead of pretending that he can write.

Summary: It was a good book but with partial let downs.
Review: I read this book half-way through and thought this is a good book. The characters are well mapped out. It just doesn't seem realistic. I think alot of Clancy's books seem a little unrealistic. I just didn't think that he wouldn't get caught when he kills the drug dealers. It just doesn't seem like it would happen that way. Also I didn't like how Clancy put the idea in the readers mind that killing isn't wrong if you kill bad people. But, overall it was a good book, although, a bit dry at times, was just about in the middle.

Summary: Tom Clancy's best book!
Review: I really loved this book. I've read all of Clancy's fictional works and this is definitely my favorite. It was great to get some background info about "Mr. Clark."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Tom Clancy's best work ever. A classic good vs. evil story.
Review: The best Tom Clancy novel to date. This classic good versus evil story takes place in the jungles of Vietnam and the drug infested streets of Baltimore. Clancy sucsessfully weaves together two story lines into an engrossing, hard to put down action packed thriller. At the books heart is John Clark the ex-seal who falls in love only to have his new love savagely murdered by viscious drug dealers. Clark sets out on a mission of vengenance until his country calls him back to the jungles of Vietnam to save downed pilots. Clark is a hero for the 90's with a strong sense of morals to match his violent ways.

Summary: Definitely Clancy's Best Work!
Review: Red October and Patriot Games are among my favorite books, but after reading Op-Center, I wasn't too interested in anymore of Clancy's stories. But Without Remorse brought me back! Every bit of the story was completely gripping! You owe it to yourself to read this book!
