Summary: Magnificent!
Review: As a fan of the Shopaholic series, I figured I'd give this book I try and I loved it! I literally could not put it down. I haven't laughed so hard at a book in a long time

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not Bad
Review: Definitely lacking the charm and wit of the Shopaholic series. Predictable plot and ending. Decent read.

Summary: Excellent Read!
Review: This is a great book!!! I read it in about 1 1/2days and was up until 2:30 in the morning finishing it. It was so exciting I didn't want to put it down.

This book is about a 20 something on her way back from a presentation who spills her guts to the guys sitting next to her on the plane when she thinks they are going to crash. Though she is embarassed when she realizes what she's done, she figures she won't see him again so it doesn't matter. Days later Emma finds out that the guy she told her innermost secrets to is the CEO of her company.

This book is as exciting, funny and cativating as the "Shopaholic" series. However, what makes this book even funnier is waiting to find out what secret about Emma that the boss remembers next.

This is a must read and a must own for any book collection.

Summary: my favorite!
Review: I haven't read a good book in awhile, so when I bought Can you keep a Secret? It was such a relief! It was such a good book that made me laugh out loud, and even made me cry! Sometimes i even put the book down and Said to myself "oh...my..gosh! I can't believe it!" I couldn't put this book down and stayed up until 5 in the morning because I just couldn't get enough!! Her writing style totally puts you in Emma's position and it feels like you're right there with her. If I was in the entertainment business...I would want to make this into a movie, no doubt! GET THIS BOOK! IT'S WORTH IT!!

Summary: This is Going to Make the BEST movie.....
Review: "Can You Keep a Secret?" by Sophie Kinsella is DELIGHTFUL. It is funny and it is a book that every single woman out there can relate to....as well as quite a few men.

I hope that Sophie Kinsella gets a BUNDLE for the movie rights to this book, because it is going to be a HUGE hit if they can find the right star to play Emma. I was practically writing the screenplay for it as I was reading.

British marketing assistant, Emma Corrigan, inadvertantly has a HORRIBLE first business trip. The meeting is disastrous and she downs several vodka tonics as she prepares to board for her return flight as she is rather nervous about flying. When extreme turbulence convinces Emma that she is going to die, she starts nervously babbling about all the serious (as well as the inane) parts of her life that she has espoused to others that she wants to change: Her weight is 128 NOT 118; her G-string panties are too tight; the coffee at work is terrible; her JOB at work is terrible; her relationship with her parents hasn't been the same since her cousin moved in over 14 years ago; her boyfriend reminds her of Barbie's "Ken" and she isn't in love with the living doll....

The American passanger next to her listens for over an hour with bemusement and patience - never interrupting her. When they land safely, Emma is mortified - but grateful that: 1. She has arrived without the plane crashing and 2. She will never have to encounter again the American who has heard every single one of her life's secrets.

At work the next day, the company is in chaos as American co-founder of the company - Jack Harper is due to arrive to assess personnel for several days.

Emma's world takes a hilarious dive when Jack Harper walks into the office. He is the airliner passanger and he remembers every single one of her secrets.....

The terrific episodes that follow are delightful!

Summary: Not great...Not bad
Review: I did like this book for the most part. I did, however..yearn for Becky Bloomwood instead of Emma. The ending was a bit too typical for my tastes, but overall, it was an OK book.

Summary: A good weekend read
Review: I can't get enough of Kinsella's writing, and couldn't put this book down once I started. Those who've read the Confessions series will find that Secrets has a very similar theme.

Summary: Don't want to keep it a secret...

Review: I won't bore you with another summary of this book. I just want to say: I could not put this book down. I devoured it in one sitting. Of course, now I wish I had read slower and savored every page. But I couldn't help myself. I just gobbled it up. Buy this book today. You won't be sorry. Happy Eating...I mean Reading!!!
