Summary: Is it this easy to deal with fear? Resounding yes!
Review: This book gets right to the essence of why we fear and gives concrete ways to deal with it, in language that is logical and understandable. It gives ways to live life positively and become the person you always wanted to be.

I noticed a shift in my thinking while I was reading and pondering it, and found myself underlining key points.

I wish I had this book years ago, because it can change the course of one's life. If you are really comitted to making a change, try it. You will not not be disappointed. I also recommend the companion book, Feel the Fear and Beyond.

Summary: Wonderfully Positive
Review: The world can be seen as either a frightening place or a wondrous,possibility-filled oyster. This book alerts us to the fact that the only, and most satisfying way to live your life is one in which you see the world as the latter. Susan Jeffers seems to be a person who has summed up the options available to us all and decided to choose the positive ,affirmative road for her life .She has also decided to tell the rest of us about her discoveries and experiences and does so in a very effective manner. The book heads off into some quite metaphysical areas towards the end but the practical foundation has already been laid and the net effect is one of a well thought-out treatise on how positive thought can transform one's life.

I enjoyed it thoroughly.

You should read it too !

Summary: A Handbook for the "Journey of Life"
Review: This book is such an extremely wonderful collection of ideas and "exercises" that has helped me see the world in a much more positive way. It expanded my life and my ability to handle situations and relationships in my life. It helped me to see the importance of taking responsibility for myself and my actions and to quit blaming people and situations for some of my discontent. Thinking of life as a journey and hence learning from each experience, I have a much more positive outlook. Susan Jeffers is able to clarify so many things in this book. It's amazing how so much can be right in front of you, but it takes a very caring and articulate person to point it out. She is that person. I thank her for this wonderful book and I hope that whoever reads this review will read this book because I am sure you will experience life in a much richer and fulfilling way.

Summary: An amazing book which brims with confidence
Review: I came across this book by chance, whilst rummaging through several self-help books in the Local Library. Dr.Susan Jeffers is truly an amazing author. Her book inspires me and I read and re-read selected portions everyday. In fact, I carry this book in my bag and treasure every page of the volume. A truly marvellous book. I just wish I had come across this wonderful book earlier in my life.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: Stunning !

This book should be distributed to every teenager in every school in every country. We'd have a far happier world. I'm 30 now and my ONLY regret in life is not having read this earlier and avoided making both myself and others miserable. From page one I recognised the negative attitudes that have stifled me these past few years. Actually laughed when I recognised myself and realised that I always had the power and have the power to change everything. Laughed when I recognised familiar situations. It's all so simple ! Just needed someone to spell it out.

Pity I didn't read this before I drove away the most wonderful woman in my life ,but hey at least I've learned for the future. I read this regularly and it's changed my life.

Summary: One of the Best!
Review: This is one of the best self-help books I've ever read. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I will love her for life because of it. The book is easy to read, absorb and Jeffers makes taking action seem like a breeze! It's full of so much common sense and honesty, you can't read it without feeling compelled to do something to change your life. I am preparing to reread it - it's something I will refer to again and again as a source of strength and encouragement. I hope it is the same for you!

Summary: Life Changing
Review: I read this book 10 years ago and found it to be absolutely life changing. I had never understood how to make negative events in my life a challenge and an opportunity for positive change. I am once again in a situation having to turn bad things into good and have revisited this book. I got on line to see if it was still available so that when I recommend it in a counselling group I'm participating in, I can tell them where to find it. This book helped me changed my life from mediocre to wonderfully rich.

Summary: It moved me from paralysis to action.
Review: For me, the power of this book is packed in the idea that your entire experience of reality is alterable by abandoning negative thinking. The book's narrative is succint and easy to use. I'll buy many copies to share with family and friends.

Summary: A Must Read for Everyone
Review: Regardless of your age, this book should be read by everyone. I was told to read this book by my supervisor, and now it has changed my life forever. The book discusses ways of overcoming our chatterbox. More importantly, it guides you to overcoming any fear you face. Now, I feel that regardless of what is thrown at me I can handle it. We should never have any fear!!!!!!! It's the best book I have ever read dealing with personal growth.
