Rating: Summary: My new favorite book. :-) Review: I just finished reading this book and I must say that I truly enjoyed it. I think it may be the longest one I've ever read and that initially made me nervous. But I had it done in just a few days; I couldn't put it down.
Each character was described so vividly that you can't help but fall in love with each of them. I particularly loved Mary Rose. She had such likeable qualities and seemed like a real person to me. Her strength, kind heart, and gentle nature are to be admired. If she were real, I would loved to have met her.
Now that I'm done reading it, I'm finding I really miss it. To me that's what determines a good book, one that sticks with you and that you can't forget.
Rating: Summary: One of my Favorite books Review: I first read this book many years ago and I still continue to reread it till this day. It's a romance story that will withstand the test of time. I laughed and I cried the first time I read it and I still laugh. The characters are very visible and alive which is made possible by Garwoods amazing writing talent. I will recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading about families that will love forever. I guarantee that this book will far surpass your expectations of any romance novel that you have ever read. After after you read it you will want to sneak and read it again. You should check out the other books about the Claybourne family such as: One Red Rose, One White rose, One Pink Rose, and Come the Spring.
