Summary: Liberals hate it that they can't dispute facts
Review: Ann Coulter presents an evaluation of America and that will stimulate the mind of all Americans regardless if your a liberal, conservative, or straddling both sides somewhere in the middle. Lib's hate this book for one main reason; They can't dispute facts! Ms. Coulter gives the reader an open, honest look at America and the many dangers that we face with the liberal ideology at the helm. This book isn't about hate or close-mindedness but instead focuses on the truth of our country and the way it will go (down the toliet)if we as Americans don't do something to stop it. A great read. If your ready to face the truth about our country...then read this book, if not, then perhaps Al Frankin or Michael Moore's book would best suite you.

Summary: A Very Good Read
Review: As always, Ms. Coulter has produced a fun and lively, not to mention, informative read. A good job one can recommend unreservedly.

Summary: Facts are stubborn things
Review: This book drives liberals crazy. Ann Coulter relies on solid research to support her position. Further, she consistently tells readers where to check the facts for themselves. While these frequent references make her writing seem sometimes dry, it allows the reader to have assurance that he or she is not being misled. Liberals can't stand her use of facts in place rhetoric because the facts are not subjective. If you're a conservative this book will add support to your views and provide more reason to be disappointed by the media. If you're a liberal it will leave you frustrated with an inability to dispute her research and force you to resort to slinging colorful insults at Coulter(proof of this childish response is in many of the other reviews). If you consider yourself to be an independent (Like me) the book will pull you towards the right. I've read books from both sides and Coulter's work is opinionated to the point of seeming harsh but regardless of her tone she is unquestionably honest and open with her research methods. I've looked and read many books but have yet to find anything as honest or factual produced from the left. I no longer trust my college history books. Hmmmm... maybe I am becoming a Republican.

Summary: Unfortunate
Review: This book has already been proven to be full of misdirections, quotes taken out of context, revisionist history and outright lies.

For just a few of the exposed lies, see Al Franken's latest - "Liars....Fair and Balanced Look at the Right"

Summary: typical american
Review: Although most of the scientific achievements have relied and still rely on imigrants' contributions, for me as a foreigner, she is typical right-wing arogant American, who thinks everything "good" is found and develped in the US by "true Americans."

Summary: "Vile Distorted Dribble" -.... to be polite.
Review: There is so much distorted, rotting "spin" to her book - that I think her brain must have lost permanent touch with her skull and the "real world" - while doing the "Exorcist" head spin from hell

I would also like to ask Ms. Coulter: Now that Uday Hussein is out of the picture, are you dating anyone new?

Summary: Eye-opening, fascinating, chilling - and funny!
Review: People, please, admit it: Ann Coulter can write! She can be brutal, but she's honest about what she sees - and despite lots and LOTS of opposition, she speaks her mind. I.e. she exercises freedom of speech! You may not like what she has to say, but you should at least listen, and ask yourself if, deep inside, you don't agree with her - just a LITTLE? C'mon now, fess up. We've been hammered for decades with left-wing propaganda parading as power-to-the-people truth - when in fact, liberals are possible even more avaricious and back-stabbing and two-faced than Republicans! What you see with liberals is definitely NOT what you get. Coulter has amassed PLENTY of proof too. The point is: Use your God-given brain, open your eyes, and think for yourself. Don't be a knee-jerk. Coulter has a fantastic sense of humor as well - no one can say she is dull! Give this smart lady a break!

Summary: GENERAL MARSHALL...A TRAITOR AND COMMUNIST!!!
Review: Well not really. But McCarthy, the man that Coulter praises so much in the book, accused him and President Truman of being treacherous. This is of course bunk.

Some would argue that Truman dropped the bomb and roasted 100,000 Japanese not only to bring an end to the war, but to show the Soviets not to mess with the US. Truman also fought communist aggression of N Korea and sent aid to anti-communists in Greece and Turkey.

Marshall, the Secretary of State at the time formulated the Marshall Plan, which if anything restored the Western European economies and removed any sympathies Western Europeans would have for communism.

I do not believe this stuff she says that Ronald Reagan singlehandedly won the Cold War. He certainly had a part in it, but so did numerous other presidents, both Democrat and Republican, over the span of the Cold War. Just because JFK didn't want to start a nuke fight with the USSR doesn't make him a pansy or weak or "lacking the balls to defend freedom" as Coulter-types would say.

It pained me to read this book just because I am the kind of person that recognizes propaganda when I see it.

Summary: One of the most biased works of recent years...
Review: This book would be laughable if so many people weren't taking it so seriously. There isn't a word written in this book that isn't mean-spirited, prejudiced and ridiculous. I agree with the reviewer who likened it to "Mein Kampf", and also the one who said the only reason Ms. Coulter has so much press is because someone out there thinks she is attractive (as they also said, shave her head and pan in for a close-up for the cover of the book and then see how many copies it sells - not many, I would think).

The bottom line is that this book is not worth the discussion about it. Not only are her own facts misleading - she often misquotes her own sources, who have refuted her - it is dull and tiresome, just one long right wing diatribe against Democrats. I wonder if any of the reviewers who gave it a positive rating even read it, or read anything else in their lives, like, for instance, a history book. If you must buy it, don't buy it new, wait till it gets in the bargain bins. If you don't believe that it will, just see how many copies Amazon is selling used right now.

Summary: Ann Coulter's "Treason"
Review: Ann Coulter should be the voice for the new generation.
Her book is a heavy hitter; those that attack the plain and simple facts have zero reading comprehension.
Liberal diatribes of political commentary are, for the most part, filled with screeching sensationalism, distortion, and focus more on calling conservatives "lying liars," and "big fat idiots," instead of writing anything substantial.
Coulter doesn't sink to that level, which is what makes her so engaging and is the reason liberals hate her--and it's the same reason liberals are terrifyingly intimidated by her.

For those who want a sharply honest look at leftist practices and their illogical and hypocritical behavior, "Treason" is THE book. It's one of the best political commentaries of the past thirty years.
