Summary: Shame on us, from a conservative
Review: This book is so full of distorted facts and down right lies it makes me ashamed that to say I am a conservative Republican. Ann Coulter is very much what is wrong with America. Instead of healthy difference of opinion we have offensive blanket statements that are untrue.We as a people of a free country have the responsibility check all personel testimony with substantiated records that can be backed up. Sadly as conservatives we have Ann in our camp but we don't have to recommend her or her book.

Review: No one should trick themselves into thinking that Ms Coulter approaches any topic from the Cold War with balance or objectivity. She clearly began this book by saying to herself "All liberals are evil, now how do I prove this". Critical thinking is clearly not one of her strong suits.

Review: It's amazing that liberals attack Ann Coulter's book without even reading it. Liberals are tragically trapped in some kind of post-prep school snobbery and obnoxiousness. Ms. Coulter's book could not be more thoughtful, accurate or necessary. McCarthy was, to paraphrase JFK and as Venona proves, a great American and a true martyr. Give up the fantasy that the Rosenberg's were unjustly slain--they were traitors, McCarthy was a patriot and liberals continue to be wrong, dangerously wrong.

Summary: For lazy intellectuals and small-town recluses only
Review: If Ms. Coulter presented a more compelling argument for why the right's perspective makes more sense instead of just insulting the left, I think this book would be more interesting. Sarcasm doesn't substitute for substance and playground insults (with a bigger vocabulary) may reinforce what some already believe but contributes little to American politics or thought. I pray (yes, pray) that foreigners who unfortunately happen to pick up this book don't think this is the best America is capable of.

Review: I consider myself a independent but I have never seen anyone who twists the truth as she does. Liberals hate America? Thats the biggest load of bs I have ever heard. Whatever you do, steer clear of her and all of her books.

Summary: Why all the 1-star reviews?
Review: Uncovering and exposing the history of lies and hypocrisies of the American Left annoys liberals. Uncovering and exposing the history of lies and hypocrisies of the American Left, and doing it with biting wit and scathing sarcasm, annoys them even more. And when the aforementioned critique is done by an attractive, intelligent woman, it apparently causes psychotic accusations and incoherent ramblings which by all definitions circumvent normal human understanding and logic. It's that simple, folks.

Summary: Her 15 minutes were 14:59 too long....
Review: Even if you're the most die-hard Republican, you may find Coulter's off-the-reservation ponitifications hard to take. Is she serious when she suggests that the United States invade Muslim countries and forcibly convert them to Christianity, or is she just creating controversy to keep her name in the press? Does it matter? Do everyone on both sides of the political aisle a favor and allow Ms. Coulter to fade into fringe obscurity with the other reactionary nutbags.

Review: This book is chock full of outstanding FACTS about how liberals have attempted to manipulate the minds of Americans. It exposes how they work to destroy the freedoms that we enjoy. The radical LEFT are terrified of books like this. That's why there are so many 1 star ratings. They haven't read it, they just want to trash it so people won't buy it because of low ratings. IGNORE THEM AND READ THIS BOOK! If you love the liberties that you enjoy in America and want to be educated on how the radical LEFT are trying to take them away from you READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: An Excellent Book!
Review: I bought this book after watching Ms. Coulter obliterate Bill O'Reilly on his show. She had absolute control of the facts while he was being critical with very limited knowledge. An example:
O'Reilly - "McCarthy hurt lots of people."
Coulter - "Name One."
O'Reilly - "Well his whole HUAC (House Unamerican Activities Committee) thing".
Coulter - "They called him Senator McCarthy because he was in the Senate, not the House." The book is excellent with documented resources and plenty of Ms. Coulter's abrasive wit. I'm off to read her other two books.

Summary: Stop her before she writes another book...
Review: Between 'Treason,' 'High Crimes and Misdemeanors' and 'Slander,' we have completed the unholy trilogy of badly written books penned for the middle-aged, conservative white racist male. In the years to come, this trilogy might become as popular as the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Might, but I doubt it, hopefully the people buying this right wing garbage will have more brains by then.
