Summary: SUPER FANTASTIC!
Review: I love Keith's style of writing. His VERY PRACTICAL, focused and down to earth approach has inspired me for the past couple of years. He lays it on the line and gives step-by-step how tos for making positive changes in your life. I was thrilled to see this book come out. I've already read it -- twice! This book is not about building a business but that is what I've applied his principles to and they work! I bought copies for everyone in my organization! You go, Mr. Harrell!

Summary: Simple statements can be profound
Review: I thought at first that much of the message was too simplistic. I also felt that I've always had a great attitude but I now see that there was more room for improvement that I previously thought. Reading this book helped me immediately focus better on changes I was reluctant to make in my life. I feel more confident about myself and better understand the concept of risk. And I've always considered myself a risk taker. You learn something everyday.

Summary: SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Review: I'll make you a deal - try the following suggestion and don't waste any money on this book. Do what I say here and you won't be sorry.
First, if you want to change anything in your life or about yourself, tell yourself "I CAN" when approaching it. Next, every time you re-approach the attempted change (nothing happens instantly), add in "..and the more I do it, the better I get at it!" Third, don't worry about results (if you worry, you throw your mental machinery out of gear). Instead, just keep saying "I CAN, AND THE MORE I DO THIS, THE BETTER I'LL GET AT IT". And guess what?! You'll accomplish the change so fast you won't know what hit you - just don't worry or bother about perfection. Be light hearted and devil-may-care, and keep working the change while holding the saying I just told you in your mind.
If you follow this simple formula, you'll save a LOT of money on these self-help books, accomplish fantastic things, and not have to waste time reading a lot of filler that covers up this same message - which is what books like ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING are all about!
Also, if you still insist on reading this sort of stuff, get the grand daddy of them all - SUCCESS CYBERNETICS by Uell S. Andersen. It spells out everything these Johnny Come Lately authors say (or should I say, copy) from human cybernetics theories that SUCCESS CYBERNETICS covered back in the 1960's.

Summary: Book vs In-person
Review: If you like his book, you'd love to see him in person. Our company had him as a motivational speaker and he was spectacular or should I say super-fantastic. His book is great for people who know that changing their attitude will help them live life to its fullest. He guides and inspires you to accomplish just that. Thanks Keith!

Summary: Tremendously Bad
Review: In keeping with the spirit of this book, "Attitude is Everything" excels in being trite. It is tremendously bad. It is fantastically poor.

Take every cliche you've ever heard, wrap it into a book and that's what you've got here.

No offense to the author and his achievements, but let me save you the time and sum up the main theme of the book-- think happy thoughts.

Summary: Great book, Great Title
Review: Mr. Harrell has done a phenomenal job of writing a motivational book tha also has substance. As an 11 year futures and options professional, author, and investor, I have to be constantly in control of my attitude and how it affects the markets I am trading. His writing style is clear and fast paced. You will not find yourself disappointed if you bought this book. I only wish that he had delved deeper into his own past and made us more empathetic. Mind you, he does give examples of his personal life and how they apply to his 10 life changing steps, but some level of connection is missing between the author and reader. Overall great book and well worth the money.

Summary: Best book ever!
Review: My husband bought this book at the airport last week to read at the plane, I was the one sticked to the book all the time. I am fully inspired by this book. It's so amazing that the author was able to provide some many convincing real life examples. I had a attitude problem, I admit my weakness and I am going to work on it. Few quotes from the book, "Attitude is a choice, you could choose to be in a good mood or bad mood", "You could concentrate on problems, or focus on solutions", "The word triumph starts with the word try", "The root of happiness is joy, and joy is from your inner thought, you don't have to reply on outside sources to make you happy.".... etc. Reading this book is one of the biggest treasure I have found. I am still on chapter 3 or 4, cuz there are so so many good phrases in the previous chapters I want to read it over again. It's written in plain English, easy-to-read format, unlike some other boring and over-theoretical books. This book is a must buy, no matter what you are originally shopping for today, I guarantee that you will not regret putting this book in your cart.

Summary: Basic motivational thoughts - possibly life-changing
Review: This book is one in a long series of books showing people how much the way they handle life, rather than what life throws at them, determines their success and - dare I say it - happiness.

This is one of life's tough lessons and most of us - myself included - continuously need to be reminded of it in order to muster the necessary self-discipline to keep in line with positive thinking.

As such, the book is well-written. It relies heavily on the author's own experiences, which lends credibility, but here and there is somewhat overdone. Personally, I somewhat sensed a lack of sophistication. This is probably partially due to all of the easy-to-remember lists of "3 P's", five qualities, 10 tools etc. There seemed to be very little padding between such lists. The scene where a pickles-salesman offers pickles to everybody on the plane and furthes demonstrates his tremendous attitude by stating "I love pickles" to me appeared Pythonesque.

Then again- if one of these lists really changes the way you get a grip on your life, this will be the most important you'll ever buy.

Summary: Must have book for everyone
Review: This is a must have book for everyone. Its a brilliantly written book without the Psycho-babble found in other books. Everybody has thier bad days. The author does not try to concentrate or explain causes of failures or shortcomings but in fact shows a way to overcome and react to them in a positive manner that can make a worse situation seem to be a blessing in disguise. Keith's personal accomplishments due to his attitude and examples of other people doing the same is a real inspiration to any reader who is seeking to overcome thier difficulties. I have also purchased his books on tape.

Summary: Attitude is Everything
Review: This is one of my favorite positive thinking books because it is action oriented. If you are a procrastinator, this book will help you to get going. If you believe that you become what you think, read Optimal Thinking: How To Be Your Best Self as well. You will learn how to optimize (and not just improve) everything in your life.
