Summary: Good Read!
Review: I very much enjoyed Watchers. I couldn't put this book down! I fell in love with Einstein, the dog with human intelligence. He is what we all wish to see in our pets. The characters worked well together,and the anticipation/chase for The Outsider was thrilling. The only thing I would change about this book is that I don't think Vince gets what he deserves the way I think he should get it. His character was so arrogant that I think his out was too easy. Overall, I highly recommend this if you like to be absorbed in your books.

Summary: 2 bad it ended!!
Review: This was my favorite Koontz book yet! I read it in six days and all i wanted to do was, sit and read, do nothing else, to disturb this gloriuos story. I felt nothing but love for Einstein, and im not worlds biggest dog fan, yet he made this an amazing story. The suspence grips you on page 3 and doesnt let go
The Outsider is always there on the back of your mind, leaving corpses behind as he narrows in on Einstein, Travis and Nora.
I was up till 3 am everynight telling myself ," just a few more pages" but my intentions went unnoticed compared to this great story, which i could not put down! I recommend it to anyone who craves an interesting and gripping book. I lovded it, and so did a lot of people who read it.
And everytime i see soemeone with a dog, especially a golden retriever i want to ask them if they read this book, because i know they would fall in love with it too.

Summary: Amazing!
Review: I finished reading "Watchers" last night, it took me whole six days, to read this incredible story. Everyday this week i was wondering when i will get some time to sit down and finally read it!!
The story about Travis, Nora and Einstein will make anyone fall in love with them. I am not the worlds biggest dog fan, but i came to love that dog in the story and i couldnt get enough of it. I felt sad and happy reading it, i even felt sad for The Outsider. His obsession with Mickey Mouse was almost cute, when his cave was found, with the folded blanket, and those little ornaments, i felt sorrow and pity for the creature. I dont want to give the story away, like some other readers had, so i minght sound ambiguous for now.
And when i read the sentence "Fiddle broken. No doctor...Afraid, afraid" i wanted to cry!!!
Fabulous book, kept me on the enge of the seat from the 3rd page, and didnt stop till the end! The thought of the Outsider was constantly on my mind. Best Koontz book yet!

Summary: Watchers Dean R Koontz
Review: I thought this book was amazing. Even though the Outsider was fundamentally evil, I still wanted things to work out for it. Watchers can make you see both sides of the story, it makes you realise that even though something may be a killer, it can still feel. No other book has ever made me feel so much pity for a creature so bloodthirsty. This book is truly one of a kind. Very highly recommended.

Review: "Watchers" by Dean Koontz is not only the best book Dean Koontz ever wrote, but it is the best book I ever read. You just fall in love with the characters and you can't put it down. After I read this book, I didn't want to read another because I knew whatever book I read next wouldn't compare. Excellent book.

Summary: Dangerous! May Be Addictive!
Review: This is Dean Koontz at his finest. The man is first and foremost a storyteller par excellence, and "Watchers" reels you in just-like-that---zip! All of his favorite elements are in play: the hulking government-sponsored lab, the super dog, the pathetic monster, the burnt out protagonist and redemption. It may be a formula, but then so is the chef's masterpiece. When it's done right, it's a work of art. The dialogue is Koontzian stiff (the dog has the best lines), but with such strong characterizations, it is but of small moment.Travis Connell is a man in bleak despair. He has lost everyone who meant anything to him and is convinced he is a jinx. With great serendipity he meets an extraordinary golden retriever and one of life's misfits, Nora Devon. The dog and Travis meet and mutually support one another in a wilderness area where something unknown is threatening them. They in turn meet the sheltered, totally repressed Nora and save her from a sexual predator who is insinuating himself into her life. The three are inexorably drawn to one another and each almost miraculously strengthens the others. The story shifts among the trio, a workaholic NSA agent, and a particularly repellent professional hit man with a God complex. The hit man Vince is wonderfully rendered and, unfortunately for the reader, we understand all too well his skewed logic. Lemuel Johnson, the NSA agent, has too much personal baggage and sometimes retards the story. The golden retriever, subsequently named Einstein, is a perfect realization of a dog that has been genetically engineered for high intelligence. He thinks, he reasons, he communicates (no, he can't talk, thank God!), but he remains very much a dog with all the traits we human dog lovers treasure. Somehow the author keeps him from ever being cute or a circus wonder; he has dignity and gravitas. This is a great, fast read that will leave you with something to think about and makes the reader face some moral ambiguities. Mr. Koontz flawlessly pushes all our buttons in this, possibly his best, novel.

Summary: One Of The Best Koontz
Review: Watchers is some seriously fun Koontz. To add 'with a heart' would be pointless because that describes everything he writes. Unfortunately 'great' doesn't describe everything he writes but it sure does this one. One of his early works, Watchers shows clearly the formula pattern Koontz employs in all his books. Yes, this becomes very tiresome later on in his career (though some real brilliance shines through later as he matures), but this story is fun from start to finish. The simple fact is that Koontz writes a great story. His dialogue comes from some other planet but is easily overlooked in most of his work. This guy loves to tell a story and he tells a great on almost every attempt. His love, and inclusion in all his stories, of animals goes far to forgive him his few transgressions as a writer. You'll cheer for these characters, race to end of the book, and then feel genuinely sorry you've reached it. This is bubblegum for the brain at its very best.
