Rating: Summary: a great read Review: Funny, passionate and convincing. This book isn't just a defense of Bush. It's an explanation of why liberals hate to admit that America is the greatest country in the world and why it drives them crazy when others -- expecially our political leaders -- aren't ashamed to stand up for the country. And it's run to read!
Rating: Summary: Lemming fodder Review: Podherotz offers flimsy arguments that would not convince a junior high school student of his premise. He's an Ann Coulter wannabe. Don't waste your time or money.
Rating: Summary: afraid to read it? Review: these negative liberals are afraid to actually read this book and give it a true review
Rating: Summary: A Good Read Review: If you sit down and read it, it's a pretty well written book.
Rating: Summary: READ THE FREAKING BOOK Review: this is why i don't depend on the star ratings for political books (left or right)...because these reviews end up being just flamers just give low star ratings to bring down a book...on the other hand, this book i felt, provided principled arguments for Bush and dispelled many of his mischaracterizations...worth a read.
Rating: Summary: I liked it Review: I thought this might be another rabid right-wing book, but it really isn't. Compared to Hannity and Coulter, this book is something that most people can read and see the clearly explained arguments for Bush.
Rating: Summary: not bad Review: i can't believe how many 1 star reviews are on a book from people who just hate bush...this book was a well written book about the bush presidency and what he has done.
Rating: Summary: Responce To "Response to "Witless Celebrity Bio."" Review: No one has ever had more contempt for the people than the bush administration.
Rating: Summary: Get A Clue Review: Anyone who can call the bush presidency a success is incapable telling the difference between a success and a colassal failure.
Rating: Summary: The most intelligent case made for Bush's re-election Review: Most of the so-called reviewers below are not reviewing the book (did they even read it?) but are just expressing their irrational partisan "Bush-hatred" - thereby proving one of the points of Mr. Podhoretz's book. The book itself is a very powerfully written argument that rises above most (i am tempted to say all, except that i haven't read all of them) of the simplistic political books of the day. I believe that even most rational Democrats who actually read it would come away questioning some of their assumptions.
