Summary: The First Step to Creating Affluence
Review: I have read and reread this book for two years. I also own the audio cassette. This is not a "how to" book that lists step by step how to become wealthy as if you were building cabinets or installing a door. It is, however, a very powerful book that attempts to change the way one thinks. Creating affluence or building wealth requires an entirely different way of thinking that most of us were not taught as we were growing up. In order to change anything in your life, you must first change your thinking. This book teaches you this in an easy to read format. The Quantum theory is not as easy to understand, but it is necessary to explain how these thoughts and techniques work.Much like any tool, it is only as effective as its user. If you do as the author suggests and read this book daily or listen to the tape, you will reap the rewards. You may not grasp all of it the first few times through. I feel that it is only the first step. I would also recommend that one read the Rich Dad series after this one. If you haven't read Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People, you should read it as well.

Review: The A-Z Steps that Deepak has listed in his book are more than just "steps" to affluence. I think most, if not all of the steps listed, are great "principles" for everyone to live by. The author also indicates that these steps are not only going to provide an abundance of financial wealth but and abundance of anything we desire in life. This is most important for me in my growth as a person. I personally measure my success as something more than just financial wealth. In order to fully appreciate the steps that he has listed, I think that it is a good idea to read a few pages each day or once a week in order to fully understand and make a habit of each step. The author suggests this as a method of becoming "aware" of each step. Overall, a great book on personal growth. The principles he teaches are time tested and true. The only problem I found was that the author tends to get very deep into Quantum Theory and physics. I do not see the significance of discussing these topics in a book about personal growth and affluence in life.

Review: This book explores the full meaning of "wealth consciousness" with clear and simple wisdom. According to the author, "Affluence includes money but is not just money. It is the abundance, the flow, the generosity of the universe, where every desire we have must come true, because inherent in having the desire are the mechanics for its fulfillment." This delightful little book is finally in paperback! Great gift idea!

Summary: I was expecting more from this cursory book
Review: This book is quite short and can be read in about an hour. Frankly, I was expecting more. It's really like a long brochure or outline rather than a book. While it did offer a few helpful points, it did not go enough in depth in expanding upon them. After reading this book, I felt like I had read an outline or a proposal to a book rather than an actual book. Thus, I regret my purchase of this book.
