Summary: Another Hit....Out of the Ballpark Mr Edward!
Review: Once again, John Edward has designed and created a tapestry of knowledge in this six pack of information. There are 6 tapes, both sides filled with excellent information for either the professional psychic (always nice to see someone elses view), beginning intuitive (if you have ever thought your gut instinct was terribly strong) or even if the subject of parapsychology/mediumship/psychic abilities intrigues you... And if you are reading this review...chances are, you would enjoy this series of audios. John speaks simply on what a psychic does to connect with their divine messengers, and teaches you how to do the same. He speaks of Psychic protection skills that can be used by persons of any vocation. Ever come home from the mall and you are so tired and drained you need a nap? Do you have a friend who shares (or dumps) all their problems on you, and YOU find YOU feel the sadness way after the conversation has ended? Then you need psychic protection. And John describes how to do so not only with yourself and family, but also how to protect your material possessions. Angels and Guides? He simply describes what the difference is, and how you can contact them! One side of the tape you will find John sharing personal stories... making him real, giving you examples YOU may relate to in your daily life. He even exclaims mistakes he made, and wishes he had, on his road development. The other side of the tape, he teaches you how to participate in the practice of that particular exercise. Such as... Meditation. Side one shares why you need it, where should you do it, what are the benefits. Side two will take you right from point A of finding a relaxing space, to breathing, to visualization. It doesnt get any easier! Really. His voice is relaxing, his words are understandable. Not a whole lot of spiritual hibber jibbish without explanation on what it means! Lets face it, alot of people are coming into connection with their mind/body/spirit this year. Not everyone knows what an Aura is or means, no more than a Chakra. Personally on the beginning of my path, when I heard the word CHAKRA... I thought Miss Kahn had mispelled her name! You can't heal something, if you don't know where it is! The information he (john) shares in this set could take one years to discover on their own, cost thousands to combine the data from many different speciality books and periodicals, and even then, you may run the chance of missing some very important information if you have felt the need to now enhance and move forward with your own sixth sense. Once again, let me say... you do not need to be a practicing, nor a professional psychic to utilize this set. It is awesome for personal development. He ends the 6th tape with what else... ethics & compassion skills. I partcicpated in one of Mr Edwards workshops, and attended one of his lectures, I would expect nothing less from this Earth bound angel. Thank you John... You are changing the face of the psychic arts! You are...a groundbreaker. I think that once you take a listen to this audio program, you will see exactly what I mean. I can't wait to read the other reviews on this product.

Summary: Are you into speed-listening?
Review: Perhaps because I have had to study these tapes for a Master's course I'm taking, I was disappointed and frustrated at the rate of speed with which John Edward speaks in these tapes. Trying to take notes was almost impossible! Also, someone did not do a very good job of editing the tapes; there were many cassettes with only part of the tape being used. That also became very frustrating while I was listening, not to mention time-consuming, having to fast forward to the end of several of the tapes. I wish John had written the book first. Without a book to reference, the tapes were even more frustrating. If you're really into studying and learning, using these tapes is a hard way to do it. On a positive note, his exercises for developing one's psychic powers were very informative and helpful. As much as I've enjoyed his TV show, I'm disappointed not to be able to give a more upbeat review regarding these tapes.

Review: Shortly after listening to the 4th tape I was able to guess what episode of The Simpsons was on TV! Could be luck, but so far I'm happy with my purchase.

Summary: Amateur effort.
Review: The only reason this gets one star is because zero stars is not an option. I will concede that the content is good, but the delivery is so bad that the tapes are almost useless. My problem is that he simply speaks SO fast it is impossible to follow him. Then, the breathing is too much. He is talking throughout, and is completely out of time with the breathing. Even if he was in time, the breathing is just not right. In a few places I got the impression he was just providing filler to stretch it out to six tapes. Your money is much better spent on any of Richard Sutphen's materials. This is garbage by comparison.

Summary: Thank you for the guide
Review: These tapes have been wonderful. They have helped to relax and de-stress my everyday life. I have lost both of my parents within 10 months of each other. I am dealing with my step-father's loss of my mother. He is extremely depressed and thank God seeking counseling but I still am trying to help him cope with the loss. This in turns doesn't give me time to cope with my loss. My job as a domestic violence advocate is stressful. Life has just gotten too stress full. These tapes have helped to give my life some balancing time. To de-stress and focus on my healing. I also have been opening the door more on my own ability to the messages that are being sent through my dream "visits" with my crossed over family. I have had these visits long before it was o.k. to talk about them. I am able to understand and focus when these occur. Thank you for the guides and God bless you in your work.
Six Month update: I have been listening to the tapes for 6 months now. I am very thankful to have these extra tools in my life to help with the destressing process. I will always give God His credit but He has given me a way to also help myself. I am very thankful. I have had the wonderful gift of validating messages that I have been given in the last several months. John Edward has helped to educate through his own work and I thank him for this. Please always remember that negative review only carry weight if you let them. The positive always rises above. God bless.

Review: These tapes were very easy to use and very enjoyable.John Edward takes you through matter of factly and explains EVERYTHING in easy to understand language.

Summary: Not what it could be
Review: Well, I hate to be the wet blanket who gives this production less than glowing reviews, but here goes: I am a loyal fan of Crossing Over and am tremendously impressed by John Edward's ability. However, I've got to say that I find this 6-volume cassette compilation filled with way too much fluff: the first side of each of the cassettes uses up only about 1/2 of the tape. You then must fast forward through the remaining 1/2 of blank tape, and flip it over to the second side, where the practical exercises begin. This is wasteful and a pain. My best estimate is that the entire set could easily have been condensed into two - perhaps three - tapes total. To you, the consumer, it means that you've just spent a whole lot more money than actually necessary on blank and worthless tape. Tapes 3 and 4 do contain fairly valuable information and follow-up exercises. Tapes 1, 2, 5 and 6 provide some interesting background and John's personal anecdotes, but probably not much use to anyone who has a reasonable grounding in subjects psychic. For the sake of Tapes 3 and 4, the investment was not a total loss, but a costly enterprise nevertheless.
