Summary: not Evanovich's best....
Review: I thoroughly disliked the character DeeDee in the first novel, and she makes her comeback in this one.
Tell me, how does a woman go from premenopausal to pregnant??
Also, if I have to read " Eeyeuuw" again, I am throwing this book away.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Full Blast is Funny and a Good Mystery
Review: (...) This book is one of the better Mysteries I have read lately -- I certainly did not know who was doing the killings...Yes it was funny and sexy, but in the end Janet Evanavich and Charlotte Hughes have developed a new genre.. it combines comedy, romance, and mystery, as well as adventure..a little for everybody, but nothing is lost in the combination. Sure others have done something like it, but none better..This book, I agree, was the best yet, and it is clear these authors are finding their voice as co-authors..I look forward to the ongoing series, and hope they keep writing together.

Summary: HOT & STEAMY
Review: Another great book from Janet and Charlotte. What a great couple. Meaning Max Holt and Jamie Swift. You'll enjoy reading this book with some of the same old characters, as well as some new. Including a physic. In the end will Jamie and Max get the killer? What will happen between these two? Will they finally fall in love or go their seperate ways. Enjoy a good weekend book. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Pretty funny, but not hilarious
Review: Enjoyed reading this one, though I longed for the Plum series type of humor. It did make me laugh in some parts, but nothing had me in stiches like the Plum series. Still recommended for a decent laugh, though.

Summary: Fun! Fun! Fun!
Review: EVERYBODY is featured to full potential in this 4th of the series. Max and Jamie are as cautiously steamy as ever. Poor Muffin suffers symptoms of pregnancy, and Vera gets a lot more action and feature time than in previous episodes. It's a wonderful series. Finally saw Janet E. on TV last night with an ad for her new Stephanie Plum novel. Both series are great entertainment.

One big element in the enjoyment of these audio books is reader Lorelei King. She is the most expressive and comical reader I've ever heard and I've listened to MANY. Her vocal range between Jaime, Max, Vera, DeeDee and her oh-so-faithful Beenee (sp?)are astounding. All characters have a particular vocal distinction of their own.

I commute an hour each way to work and I can't find a better way to spend the time than with ANY Janet Evanovich or Charlotte Hughes book on CD. Passes the time so quickly. Can't wait to get back in the car and continue!!!

Review: Full Blast is a repeat of the Stephanie Plum series, just different names. It seems as though all Evanovich's novels are pretty much the same. Turn up the heat? All I got out of it was a simmer. I've read much better.

Summary: MAYHEM PLUS ROMANCE ARE A BLAST
Review: Here 'tis - the fourth in this list topping series set in the not at all peaceful town of Beaumont, South Carolina with a cast headed by newspaper editor Jamie Swift and irresistible millionaire Max Holt - an incendiary pair if there ever was one.

Audio books are such a pleasure, and one reason for this is A-one reader Lorelei King. Just ask Janet Evanovich: "Lorelei King started reading my British books originally, and I liked her so much I asked my American publishers if they would use her as well. She creates a character that everyone can understand and everyone can identify with. Each of the characters has a little different inflection so that we really do know when the character changes, but it's not so dramatic that you can't create the character in your head."

Amen to all of the above. So just settle in for another funny, sexy, and suspenseful romp with Jamie and Max as related in the incomparable voice of Lorelei King.

There's a heat wave in Beaumont right now, as well as the heat generated between Jamie and Max. Looking for a way to up the paper's income Jamie begins a personal ads column. Then, suddenly, very unBeaumontian things occur: off-color fortune cookies are produced by a local Chinese restaurant, a lingerie shop opens that would make Fredericks of Hollywood blush, and, of all things, pornographic pastries are popping from the bakery's ovens.

As if that were not enough - a few citizens that won't be greatly missed are murdered.

Jamie and Max have mayhem on their hands and romance on their minds.

Summary: "Eeyeuuw"
Review: I can hardly believe that Janet Evanovich wrote this book or contributed to it in any way. I have read all of her Plum books and laughed out loud, I felt this was very poorly written and draggy. Won't read another one of these.

Summary: Fun read
Review: I don't know why people can't seem to separate Janet Evanovich from the Stephanie Plum series. Full Blast is not the same, but it still is a fun book with a hilarious scene with a deranged poodle. Recommended to those who want a lighthearted, fun book to read by the pool.

Summary: All I can say is WOW!!!
Review: I have loved the full series and for me this had to be the best one of them all. I love that Evanovich and Hughes didn't trump the sexual tension card to the hilt, in this book Jamie and Max took their relationship to next level, and even professed their feelings for one another, YESSSSSS. I also must commend the authors for the mystery element, I never would of figured out who the true culprit was, bravo. The only problem I have now is that I have to wait till April for the next installment of this series Full Bloom. Can't wait to see what happens next.
