Review: How exciting! Finally real help in developing the psychic skills that are inate within all of us. Janet's voice immediately calms you and creates the meditative state which is necessary not only for hypnosis, but is the "place" where all things psychic develop! Her creative use of imagery and sound effects draws one into a natural state of relaxation and her suggestions have helped me more than any "self-help" book for psychic development ever has. I am so thankful that there is finally an effective tool in assisting me in my psychic work.

Summary: Very helpful in opening up to psychic ability
Review: I don't believe there is power in self-hypnosis or a CD like this in itself, but more in the intention of "wanting" something to come into your life. That is all they offer or claim. Hypnosis is just suggesting things to your subconscious, while you are in a more susceptible state to receive the message.The psychic development hypnosis session on the disk helps connect you with your chakra system through grounding and visualizations. She suggests that you will only open your psychic ability to a level that is appropriate for you at this time. I think it is very well done. The only thing I might change in the induction, is how she has you take breaths. I was trying to follow exactly what she says, but it doesn't really work that way. You need to take breaths between the deep breaths she leads you through. I got over this by the second or third time I listened, so it was fine. Just don't take the breathing part too literally, so it won't be confusing. The second session on the CD is for deep relaxation and it is WONDERFUL! I use this to relax and go to sleep on nights when I feel a little wound up. All in all, very worth the investment!

Summary: The Journey of Psychic Development
Review: I found this CD informative and a positive reinforcement for my desire to learn more about psychic development. I believe we all have the ability to develop our psychic pathways, but it takes time and work. Once you open your mind, body and spirit to different pathways of thought anything is possible. This CD is a great way to get started. Ms. Decker's voice is very soft and well modulated. I found this CD a great inexpensive way to get started on developing a new sense of myself and the world around me. It is a great stress reducer too!

Review: I have been using several other of Janet Decker's self-hypnosis CDs and have been so pleased with each of them that I continue to try more of her products! I have attended seminars with Sylvia Brown and James Van Prague in my quest for enlightenment and have found "Hypnosis For Psychic Developement" to be an invaluable tool in developing my own abilities! I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking to expand thier mind and develope their "sixth sense"!!

Review: I ordered this C/D and Becoming the Goddess, and Sprit Contact. I have noticed that all three C/D's have the same repeated sessions on each C/D. The only difference between all three C/D's is the one session unique to the subject topic where she walks you through one actual 15 minute session. She does have a very melodic voice and method of speaking that is very soothing. There is more to Phychic Development that opening your charka centers! If you really want to improve your abilities...A better buy is Heaven and Earth [ABRIDGED] by James Van Praagh,[Audio Cassette]and then get a tape recorder and create your own mediation tapes.

Review: I'm a longtime practicioner of Wicca, and I strongly recommend Hypnosis for Psychic Development to all my students. This was my first CD by Ms.Decker. I've listened to alot of CD's, mostly disappointing, BUT Ms.Decker's voice and manner of speech are wonderful conduits to trance, and the programme is great either as a "tune up" or prepare for ritual or magic. I use it before undertaking almost any metaphysical work. Even a skeptic (like my husand :P) will admit feeling "really good, warm and tingly" after listening to this CD.

Review: I'm new but very open to the possibilities of hypnotic suggestion - I have purchased two of Ms. Decker's CDs, this one and the one on reducing stress - Janet Decker does a fantastic job of assisting the listener to drift off into a low-level trance while at the same time maintaining control and awareness of one's surroundings - her voice is soft and assuring and her presentation is flawless - the breathing exercises she plants in the mind of the individual have enabled me to greatly reduce my stress level enabling me to deal with day-to-day activities - while I do have a problem visualizing the chakra elements of her suggestions on the psychic development CD, my wife can visualize them exactly as Ms. Decker suggests them to be - I have discovered, through Ms. Decker's counsel that the ability to visualize is more pronounced in some than in others - overall, I would highly recommend this and any of the other hypnotic CD's that Ms. Decker produces

I have had a professional hypnotherapy session in the past, and I would rather listen to her CD than the gentlemen I went to visit at his office. After the session, every bone in my body seemed to pop when I rose up. I just purchased this today; I will buy other CDs from her as well. I recommend it highly.
