Rating: Summary: And then there was 1 great book Review: I rate this book a ten. It is a suspensful murder mystery that will make your mind boggle. You may think who the murderer is, but once you find out who it is, you will be in shock.
Rating: Summary: Probably Christie's best book ever! Review: Let me just say this: I used to hate mysteries. I found them, well, boring. Of course, I WAS only ten years old at that time. Then I picked up "And Then There Were None". I fell in love with it immediately (though I admittedly skipped the first chapter). Now I own (yes, own) almost fifty Agatha Christies and have read all of them. And I'm only fifteen. I don't consider this the best book ever written. However, as a mystery this is an amazing book. It has some emotion and substance to it, unlike many mysteries (and unlike many Agatha Christies, i.e. "Big Four" and other Poirot books). Suspenseful and fun. Read it, I urge you. Perhaps you'll fall in love with mysteries as well.
Rating: Summary: AGATHA CHRISTIE'S BEST! Review: "And Then There Were None" is quite possibly THE BEST MURDER MYSTERY EVER WRITTEN! The SUSPENSE is real and the MYSTERY is BLINDING! A MUST-READ!
Rating: Summary: A great book! Review: I recently was involved in a theator production of this book. I played the part of William Henery Blore. Agatha Christie developed an excellent plot, and a supper story for what has to be one of the best mystery storys of all time. I highly recomend that you read it, it is one of the best!
Rating: Summary: One more positive opinion Review: I think I speak for everyone when I say that is one of the most enthralling and addictive novels in recent memory. I read through feverishly, devouring the book in a single day, only to be shocked by one of the most unpredictable conclusions ever dedicated to paper. Afterwards, I slapped myself over the forehead and exclaimed "Of course!" You'll see what I mean... It's a classic feeling. If anyone else could recommend anymore of Ms. Christie's novels which contain the same integrity and suspence as this one, please mail me at "chuck@c-gate.net".
Rating: Summary: A great book EVERYONE should read Review: I can honestly say that this is the best book I have ever read! I had never even heard of Agatha Christie before reading this book, but now she is one of my favorite authors. Even if you are not a mystery reader, you should consider reading this book. It exceeded all my expectations!
Rating: Summary: Suspenseful, mysterious, And Then There Were None is #1 Review: This book was such a great book, urging you to focus not only on who the murderer is, but also on the characters' personalities. The characters were well-developed, each with their own pasts. As you read, you think about each character, the evil part of them, and the innocent, ordinary part of them! The plot was so fantastic; the picture of the island was clear in my head. You could follow evrything that was happening perfectly. And the conclusion was so creative. Until the last couple of pages, you were left confused and with the urge to keep on reading. If you have no yet read this book, even if you are not a great lover of mysteries, I advise you to read this book.
Rating: Summary: A devious story of cat and mouse! Review: I first read this beautifully written novel four years ago after watching the 1989 film version. I was very impressed by the consistency and organization that Agatha Christie displayed in this timeless work of art. I fell in love with the plot: Ten persons, gathered together to an isolated island off the Devon coast, charged with past crimes, and one by one murdered by the hand of an unknown assailant, according to a childish nursery rhyme. I must say I was surprised when I discovered the identity of the unknown killer, and others will be also when they read this thrilling mystery. Truly, this is the best tale of suspence ever written by the pen of Agatha Christie!
Rating: Summary: The best mystery ever written! Review: Once I started reading "And Then There Were None" I could not put it down. I stayed up until four in the morning on school night just because I HAD to know what happened next. Just when I thought I had it figured out I was shocked by the twists and turns it takes. The ending is an unforgettable shocker, and this is, quite simply, the best book I have ever read. No kidding.
Rating: Summary: "And Then There Were None" is mystery's #1 BESTSELLER! Review: Agatha Chrisite's "And Then There Were None" (Previously printed as "Ten Little Indians") is mystery's #1 bestseller. This book is fascinating, alluring, and most of all, mysterious (of course). The book is about ten strangers called to Indian Island through letters and telegrams. When they arrive, their host seems to be absent. A voice from the walls accuses all of them of being responsible for someone else's death. And as in the poem "Ten Little Indians," they slowly begin to die.
