Rating: Summary: Found my life waiting Review: Lynn relates her points in a humorourous and easy to understand style. I first bought Excuse me... for a friend......really, I did. Little did I know, I was the one who needed these practical applications in my life. Not only have I found my life waiting but I can honestly say it has had a profound impact on my life. This stuff really, really works. My career, health, love life, family relationships and general outlook have all done a 180 degree turn around for the better! I already have the playbook and the Audio set as well as the hardback book. I just completed my third "30 days to breakthrough" with my study partner and we both find each time we do the 30 days exercise, we take another giant leap forward in our lives.
Rating: Summary: Save your money! Poor writing and poor content. Review: I bought this book on the basis of the large number of rave reviews and was sorely disappointed. I found the book to be very poorly written, poorly organized, and to have trivial and questionable content. She's essentially recommending positive thinking and sending out positive "feeling vibrations" into the universe together with such profound advice as "if something's bugging you, get over it." I have to say that after reading the book, I'm extremely suspicious that many of the reviews here must have been written by associates of the author or publisher. I just can't believe that that many people would find this stuff at all motivating or insightful. I strongly recommend that you save your money and get one of the wonderful books that contain real insights into living such as: "Conscious Living" by Gay Hendricks, "Getting Real" by Susan Campbell, or "The Portable Therapist" by Susanna McMahon.
Rating: Summary: Mindblowing Review: Well, all I can say is it works. I bought this audio after a friend told me about the book. I listened to it to and from work. It is truly amazing. I have put her program into use and things have already started happening for me. I have implemented it into every relationship I am in, from professional to personal. She is so right on target, it is mindblowing. It is a must read for anyone!! I highly recommend it to everyone I see.

Rating: Summary: Absolutely awesome and life changing Review: This is the only self help one should read, if you really want to change your life. It really tells you why visualization, positive thinking, and the such, often don't work in and of themselves. I loved this book so much, and it has been making such a difference in my life. I have given copies to several people, and they too, have begun to notice changes once they REALLY begin to follow it. Just reading isn't enough, you really have to do it.
Rating: Summary: CHANGE NEGATIVE ENERGY TO POSITIVE! Review: "I am the captain of my fate, I am the master of my soul." What we receive from life is very closing bound to what we put into it. Each of us has the power to change the things about our life that are not giving us fulfillment. Those changes may not happen overnight, depending on the problem and one's personal resources, but they are within our power to change. Rather than try to let our challenges get us down, we can accept our trials and tribulations as opportunities to grow and learn, and choose to be happy anyway. The author of this book poignantly points out how to change our negative energy to positive energy and find a more enriched, fulfilling life.Grabhorn presents a thiry-day program aimed an enhancing and changing your life for the better. I highly doubt that you will see significant, permanent change in that length of time; long-term changes require a significant time to develop, not to mention a lot of self-discipline. To say that you can achieve all that in a thirty-day program would be an incredible feat of accomplishment for most people. We all develop and adapt to change at our own pace and it is not realistic to think we can all do it in thirty days. However, whatever the length of time it takes one to make those changes, the author has given some very valid points to ponder and the book is certainly worth reading.
Rating: Summary: life changing Review: This book is one of the most important books I ever read in my life. It could be summarized in a few words but a lot of things can be summarized in a few words and easily passed over. It must be read from cover to cover to have the effect it had on me. I attended a lecture by Lynn Grabhorn after I had read the book. It was okay. But the book itself supercedes the woman's presence and effect. For some uncanny reason she gathered together a volume of thoughts, some hers and some classic (the law of attraction for example) and formulied an approach to living that is indeed capable of changing ones life from mundane to ectastic. I can't thank her enough. At her lecture, because of a comment I made, she referred to me as "Saint Morris". I'm hardly that, in fact, it was a sarcastic remark. But I don't care what she says about me. Her book is phenominal and if anybody seriously reads the book and examines between the lines they will see that she has created a work that is very powerful. I am a published author, I wrote Steve Martin: the Magic Years. An authorized biography about the actor. Quite frankly, I wish I could have written a book that would have had the ability to impact lives in a positive way like Excuse me, your life is waiting. I loved it. Morris Walker
Rating: Summary: Turn Your Life Around For the Better -- Right Now! Review: Lynn Grabhorn answers the age-old question, "What makes our lives turn out the way they do?" with a surprisingly simple answer... it's all in the way we FEEEEEL! We've been taught backwards -- we've learned to forcefully push forward like the Lone Ranger riding off at full gallop to get what we want in life. This lone ranger approach usually serves to exhaust us while making little headway into bringing the things we wish we had to us (such as good health, a loving home, fulfilling relationships, rewarding work, and money). "Yes, yes", you may reply, "That all sounds great, but I've tried similar things before, and never noticed a difference". You'll be glad to know that EXCUSE ME, YOUR LIFE IS WAITING is written just for you! It's packed with pointers for how to break through your own unique barriers to a life of well-being, as well as real-life examples of what a difference our feelings make based on Grabhorn's own fascinating life story. What makes Grabhorn's book so compelling is that she describes the tale of her own transformation. Grabhorn was once proficient at making things happen with hard work, perspiration, and ever-vigilant worry -- and has become a woman who starts out by feeling love and appreciation, and who has now become healthy and prosperous in every way. How fast can you expect to see results? Grabhorn outlines a 30 day program, by which she changed her own life from focusing on energy-draining feelings to flip-switching over to appreciate the good things in life. All we have to do is follow the four main steps: identify what we don't want, identify what we DO want, find the feeling place of our want, and expect the universe to deliver.
Rating: Summary: Read this one over and over! Review: Buy this book. Read it once. Then again. And maybe even again. It will change your life. I have so many self-help books that I have read and kept for reference. I don't need any of them, now. This is the one I will keep forever....it is truly a life-changing book. And it is so simple.
