Summary: easily digestible, except where it's not
Review: This book offers one premise, and does not veer from that premise or expand far beyond it. The premise is simple: like attracts like, good energy attracts goodness, so if you generate positive energy through "feeeeeeling" positive, good things will come to you. Now that you know that, the rest of the information in this book will be mostly anecdotal.

The power of positive thinking is extremely potent, and this book is an easily digestible introduction to this premise. However, I found this message to be compromised by its flip side, which contains a "blame the victim" mentality. For instance, Grabhorn sites the story of a woman who was killed by a rock randomly thrown into her car from an overpass as a demonstration of how a victim's negativity can cause her own demise.

I think this book can potentially have great value in kick-starting a discipline in positive thinking, but like many self-help books, it's important while reading it to separate the pearls of wisdom from the chaff.

Summary: Great "Pick Me Up-Change Your Attitude" Audio Cassettes
Review: Very positive. I'm going to order 2 more for friends. Lynn narrates it herself. She sounds very "off the cuff and genuine". I'm ready to play it again. It has really changed my life.

Summary: Good book, but lacks something...
Review: On my own spiritual path, I've read many books on spirituality, metphysics and just plain physics, grasping concepts from different angles. I feel this author is onto something but as a daily reader and seeker, I needed something more than to be told over and over, all you have to do is feel good. A better book to really understand what's going on...The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot. I had to put it down once in awhile because it gave me the heebie jeebies, and hardly a book hasn't done that to me in a long time!

Summary: It's the Universe, baby, and it's inside you.
Review: Some previous readers have knocked this book down as unbelievable. One of their points of argument is that there are so many rich people who own corporations, etc, who never needed to read this book. But the thing is, some people had a different level of brainwashing. The beliefs that they grew up _already_, from their childhood, supported the actions they executed and the thoughts these achievers entertained. And these positive actions and constructive thoughts( about how creative and powerful they are inside ) can't help but make them jiggle most of the day with high vibrations. These negative reviewers need to remind themselves that they aren't INSIDE these other achiever's bodies, so how do they know that who's feeling what ?

If you think that this book is yet another hyped attempt at helping the way you feel so that you're just happier, or that the concepts are just too magical to be real, think about the New Testament: " As A Man Thinketh in His Heart, So Shall He Be". Neville's books, in a more difficult style to comprehend and not nearly as chatty as Lynn, will nonetheless convince you and make you realize: "Yes, mankind really is brainwashed. Look at this robber I'm looking at on the RealTV show, through the 7-11 camera,... that poor guy,... he thinks that he's just a puppet, and that these things on the outside are actually real, so he's got to get what's his because he believes he's powerless and he'll always be poor, and that he's somehow less than others."

I appreciate Lynn because she finally put this very readable material out there in the public and is making the importance of Putting Yourself into the Feeling State of Your desired Circumstances available to the public once again in a volume that Neville didn't achieve in the 50's (the Internet helps), though I prefer to read Neville.

For those who don't seem to be getting results, there is no violating the Universal Law of Attraction, anymore than there is violating Gravity. Make sure you're not subconsciously scared of the massive changes that can occur in your life through Creating. Make room for it. Know it. You are a Creator, but make sure that you see yourself as Deserving. If you're not, ain't nothin going to happen, or at least permanently.

Summary: Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting
Review: Lynn Grabhorn writes in a refreshing and earthy manner in Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting. She has worked in a variety of fields, and includes another book and an highly-acclaimed multimedia program among her credits. She describes herself as "a long-time student of the way in which thought and feelings format our lives."

The essence of her philosophy is the Law of Attraction: that is, like attracts like. If we want good things and success in our lives, then that's what we need to be thinking about. Most people make the mistake of thinking about the things they don't want to happen, and unwittingly draw those very things to them.

It is necessary, however, to do more than just think about what we want in a detached way--it's our feelings that determine what enters our lives. Grabhorn says "that's right, we get what we want by the way we feel, not by trying to slug things into place or control our minds. And since most of us haven't felt too hot about what we've had for most of our lives, we've become highly gifted masters at attracting an overabundance of circumstances we'd rather not have."

Grabhorn explains that first it's necessary to identify what it is that you don't want. From that, you can identify what you do want. She gives lots of tips for describing your wants in positive ways. Then you need to "get into the feeling place of what you want." This is extremely important, and she provides detailed suggestions and examples. Finally, you simply expect success and allow it to happen.

She emphasizes that you don't need to struggle against the things you don't want in your life--all you have to do is to quit thinking about them. Easier said than done, of course, but Grabhorn offers lots of helpful suggestions.

"If you really think that things come to you by some stroke of good or bad luck, or by accident, or coincidence, or by knocking your brains out against some very unsympathetic stone walls, then get a grip," Grabhorn says, adding that her book "could be dangerous to your discontent."

Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting teaches readers a simple and effective technique for transforming their lives and obtaining whatever it is that they desire. Buy a copy for yourself and another for a friend and enjoy the good life together!

Summary: I KNEW THIS. . . BUT NEEDED TO DO THIS
Review: This book was just what I needed to re-energize my life. After an extended period of down with seemingly no way to get up, this book helped me realize what was going on. It was sooooo easy for me to sabatoge myself, and I had.

Using the principles in this book has taken my life to a new vibrant, positive, productive, exciting, fascinating and full of potential place. I am laughing at myself again and looking forward to each day for what is coming my way.

The Powerful, yet Simple concepts in this book work. They always have and always will. Sometimes we just need a reminder that they always have and always will.

Thanks Lynn for helping me open the doors again to allow prosperity to seek me out.

Summary: What Every Human Needs to Know!
Review: This was such a wonderful book! It is my road map to life and living. Without a map in life we are lost, and that is where I have been. Lynn writes in such a way that is so easy to grasp and understand the Law of Attraction. In this world, this is such a "must" read. This has been the book I have been looking for, for many years. It stays in my hands and I pull out the lessons she shares with me every day. It isn't always easy, but it is getting easier everyday! I have given it as gifts and I feel it is a priceless one at that. You are sharing your love and a path for your loved one or friend to walk through life easier. If you love someone, share this with them and then see them applying it.
Thank you for your compassion, love and sharing your knowledge with us Lynn.

Summary: I have to Gush!
Review: About this book. I decided to by the audio version of this book, because at the time I was already *reading* another book on the topic of manifesting. Grabhorn's approach to this overworked topic is refreshing. Not only does she give you instruction, but she brings forth snippets and stories from her own vault. These stories are not only of her success; many of them are of her realization of her failures. This gives credibility and assurance to those who are not familiar with the art of manifestation. Grabhorn hits every nerve. She leaves no stone unturned as she goes from the little red car that we all want right on through to healthy and happy relationships. This publication left me with a smile on my face and a light feeling in my heart. She gives it to you straight, but it is not hard to swallow. I recommended this to my mother. I lent her the CDs and she raved. My mother is a woman who is hard to convince, and she has definitely benefited from this work.
