Summary: This book picks up where the others left off. Outstanding!!
Review: This exceptional writing stands alone in my library of self-help books as the single, most effective source of inspiration I've experienced in years. Lynn Grabhorn takes the basic concepts and ideas of improving the quality of life, and goes light-years further in sharing a little-known secret about how to use the energy in the universe to bring greater good into your life. Candid, humorous, and easy to read, this life-changing masterpiece will be with me forever!

Summary: Gives you control of your life
Review: Every time I pick up this book and start to read, I feeeel myself smiling and beginning to feeeel good. For me it has been a reminder of the control I have in my life. The real life stories are typical of all of us. Been there done that! The steps to regain the control we all seek to have in our lives are easy. For the novice, it is a great book. For the knowledgeable it is a gentle reminder of how to get in touch with ourselves again.

Summary: Life changing
Review: Lynn has passed. I just went to her website on a whim (www.lynngrabhorn.com) and found out. There was no mention of a date or how it happened... I was saddened, but she would not want anyone grieving for her. Our purpose here on Earth is JOY.... it's funny - I was never moved to review her book here until now. Now I want everyone to know how life-changing it can be. It is the Law of Attraction made simple. And if you truly listen, it can mean everything to your now, and your future. If you've somehow been lead to this entry on Amazon, chances are it's syncronistic for you, and the universe is telling you to order this book! If you feel at all led to do so, then go for it. The Law of Attraction is working in your life even if you are not consciously aware of it, so harnessing it consciously can totally change things for you for the better!

Summary: Manifestation 101? Depends how you look at it...
Review: I've read many books on manifesting, but I consider this THE BEST one on the subject because it is an actual "how to" book. The author does not get bogged down in explanations of why it works, but clearly she's done her homework. A good book to fully explain why these techniques work is "The Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbot.

Accurately explaining how to flow energy is difficult, because it is such a subtle thing - but the author has done an excellent job! It is like trying to teach someone how to ride a bike by telling them what balancing feels like, what shifting weight on turns feels like. The book teaches how to sense energy by checking in with the attached emotion around/behind a given situation.

I just finished reading this book, and am looking forward to using her techniques. I wish that I had found this book several years ago, much of what she teaches I learned through trial and error. I feel like this book has given me the missing link in my practice!! THANKS!

My one criticism:
I have to admit that I avoided this book for a while because the title and the cover art are *kinda cheesy* - but you know what "they" say about that...

Summary: Quantim Physics concepts--not judgement
Review: Well, it's obvious there's no middle of the road in the reviews of this book. I am sorry to see that. I believe the folks that see this as a "blame the victim" book are misinterpreting the message. I am a practitioner of alternative medicine and at first it was very difficult for me to realize that death or illness is not necessarily a failure. Death at the proper time is a part of the cycle of life. One movie of late that addresses some of the concepts in this book, perhaps in a smoother presentation, is What The Bleep Do We Know? (http://www.whatthebleep.com/) See the movie and then judge the contents of this book. I like the book, myself. I see it as one expression of possible ways to use the laws of Quantim Physics.

Summary: FEEEEEL away cancer, disease, and accidents
Review: I can't remember ever having written a review on Amazon.com fueled by such extreme anger. My father dedicated his entire life to the service of others and NEVER got down or depressed. He is now suffering from terminal cancer...oops, I guess optimism, happiness, and dedication to other humans wasn't enough. He felt his way into cancer.

My very good friends are happy, funny, genuine people. They have a daughter with cystic fibrosis. They both carried a recessive gene for it...guess they didn't feeeeeeel right during their pregnancy. Their two other children are fine, must have felt better during those two gestation periods.

And all the people that perished or had their lives devastated by the Sunami....well, if they just (all several hundred thousands of them) had just chosen different feelings, well then they would all be healthy AND wealthy right now.

HOGWASH, at first I was going to offer my copy for free to anyone that wanted it, but I decided burning it would be a better solution, nobody that has even one speck of compassion and empathy should EVER read this book.

Summary: Invest in your life
Review: I would highly recomend this book to everyone who is open minded. Very religious people would have a very hard time grasping the concepts that are shared in this book. But to those of you with an open mind, here is a book that can truly change your life. This book is entertaining, and a bit long, but most importantly, it teaches us something. She gives us clear instruction on how to completely transform your life. It is worth you purchasing a new or used version of this so that you too can begin your transformation. If you try her methods, if only as a joke, you WILL be surprised. I was. I have had some surprising results in trying her teachings. Good luck to all!

Summary: Abraham/Hicks
Review: Yes, I agree with the review below, Abraham/Hicks material is best for the law of attraction. There are audio recordings of the material that are very inspirational and concise. Abraham/Hicks. Yes.

Summary: Dare to Read It
Review: I could not put this book down. I have often wondered about how the downward spiral in life really works. Why does life keep kicking you when you are down? This book teaches that it is because you are down that life is kicking you - based on the laws of attraction. Fortunately, this book teaches you about the opposite of the downward spiral and how to literally reward yourself with very little output. "Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting," is eye-opening and honest if you can open your mind to it.

Summary: Don't wait another moment-read this book!
Review: Heard the taped version of EXCUSE ME, YOUR LIFE IS WAITING, written and read by Lynn Grabhorn . . . though you may not have yet heard of the author or book, I urge you to get hold of it at once and then devour it . . . it is that good!

Grabhorn's premise is that the law of attraction puts whatever you think about into your life, so you need to be careful about what you put in your life and how you feel about it . . . she also points out that every moment of lives if governed by our emotions and not be luck, hard work, circumstance, good thoughts, or visualization.

She contends that there are "four steps to deliberate creation, the four steps that are guaranteed . . . to bring into your life whatever is your passion and much, much more" . . . they are:

Step 1. Identify what you DON'T want.
Step 2. From that, identify what you DO want.
Step 3. Get into the feeling place of what you want.
Step 4. Expect, listen and allow it to happen.

My plan is to get the hard copy of the book to pick up even more than I did from listening . . . however, from hearing the author's very enthusiastic narration just a first time, I also learned:

If you don't feel it happening, it won't.

We get what we focus on.

If you don't want something for 16 seconds or more, that's a sure way to make it happen.

Focus on what you want, not on what you don't want. For example, don't say, "I don't want to get sick." (You will!) Say, instead, something to this effect: "I do want to feel better and better every day."

If you intend and you feel, it will happen.

Saying "I intend" prepaves your day!

Being against something isn't going to improve it.
