Summary: This book is amazing!!
Review: This book is amazing. It helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I had changed from a reasonably happy woman to a grouchy mother who couldn't sleep. I grabbed her book one night, found my inspiration, and fell immediately to sleep. It has been getting better and better since that night. I will tell you, I didn't believe what she had to say the first few times I read it. She flies in the face of so much that has been told to me before. It took several readings (and a crisis) for it to finally register. Good luck!

Summary: Great practical psychology mixed with silly metaphysics
Review: The author really emphasizes the importance of feeling good, and does offer some ideas that have worked for me. I don't totally agree with the "law of attraction" she advances, which says that everything that happens to us is a result of how we think and feel. There is no randomness: if you get sick or mugged or run over by a truck, you "attracted" it! Supposedly you can "attract" whatever you want in your life by feeling good. I suppose this works to a point. The author offers very little support for the existence of this "law", outside of some personal anecdotes. To be sure, how we feel affects how we behave and present ourselves to others, who will in all likelihood react accordingly. If we are feeling good and confident about achieveing something, we're more likely to go for it and put fewer stumbling blocks in our own way. However, rational explanations such as this are not Grabhorn's cup of tea. She rests completely on the "absoluteness" of the law of attraction. If you feel real good about getting a red sports car, its on its way to you. If you start worrying about the insurance payments, the universe pulls it back.

On the other hand, this book convinced me that feeling good is important and not all that difficult, really! Maybe feeling good is reward enough, but marketability in America means convincing people that they can get "more."

I think there is some sound psychology here mixed with some rather silly metaphysics. You don't have to buy Grabhorn's theories in toto to get some good out this. I'm convinced that we do spend too much time dithering over what we don't like and don't want, and that focussing on what we do want - and then looking for ways to bring it into being - is a lot more useful and fun. Four stars to the book for helping me see that, one star off for unsupported assertions of universal law.

Summary: "Excuse Me" will change your life.
Review: What can I say about this book except buy it, read it and believe that all that happens to us in our lives is a direct result of our thinking and the words we choose. This book has vastly improved our lives and continues to do so on a daily basis. I think we have personally sold more than 20 people on this book and have heard amazing results of life changing events from them all. Congrats to Ms. Garbhorne for an outstanding book, and continued success in her life and we look forward to more to come.

Summary: excuse me, your life is waiting
Review: This is the book that is changing my life. It is the best book I have read in a very long time. I am probably on the 6th or 7th reading. I have shared this book with so many people and have bought it for a friend and she loves it. Everyone knows this is the book that will change your life, guaranteed. Its absolutely the best. I think everyone in the world should read this book and then the world would change for only the best. Loved it.I am 50 years old not 5.

Summary: It's about TIME!
Review: Lynn Grabhorn has written a book that is a must read for all 'positive thinkers' that have in fact mastered the art of self-induced stage hypnosis. This book gives easy to understand explanations and directions for those who have a sincere desire to take charge of the conditions in their life. This author has managed to implement the new 'facts of life' found in the new physics for herself. I applaud her success and determination to share her discoveries with others.

Summary: excuse me, your life is waiting
Review: This is a totally different approach to effecting change in your life. And the method IS certainly effective. The book is definately worth a read...whether because you want to change your life or because you're interested in the physics of life

Summary: Feel this book
Review: I am one of those (I've often thought)unlucky sorts, who feel, feel, feel, everything and consquently seem to suffer because of it. I am always in the market for a meaning behind some of the confusion I believe we all experience in the course of a natural day. I came across this book by accident????and, I like it. It doesn't make me feel inadequate like alot of self help books and good advice has made me "feel". You know, I think that if you are trying to better yourself, if you are attempting to improve the qualtiy of your life, and you find a book that helps you along in that process, then more power to you. This book might just be the one to remind you that you are not doing as bad as you probably think you are and it is just sweet enough to hold out it's paper hand and offer you a bouquet of daisies along the way, a kiss on the forehead, a pat on the shoulder or even, hope.

Summary: A totally different approach that works
Review: I believe this book presents an important new direction in self-help. Most self improvement texts focus on how we think and control our minds (I've read a ton of meditation and other self-help books). Lynn Grabhorn's approach is solely based on feelings. Instead of focusing on our thoughts, meditations, values, etc., Lynn says we should focus on changing how we feel. When I tried her suggestions for consciously and deliberately generating a feeling of happiness, and linking it to a goal or want, I was blown away! Her concepts are incredibly simple but intensely powerful. I feel like I've improved more after of one week of using Lynn's approach than I have after years of meditation and other similar methods.

Summary: It just makes sense to me.
Review: A really insightful book. Ms. Grabhorn makes a strong case for the power of feelings and the importance of controlling the focus. I highly recommend this book.
