Rating: Summary: Divine Magic! Review: The simple ideas presented in Lynn's book WORK and far more effectively than anything I have ever tried in the past! This is the ONLY book that I have ever bought extra copies of to gift family and friends with - everyone should read it because it clearly defines Who and What we Truly Are without judgement, rules, criticism, dogma, whatever. If you've read, practiced or studied anything regarding quantum physics, energy healing, Reiki, Creative Visualization, A Course in Miracles, Conversations with God, or any topic relating to Metaphysics, Manifesting Money, healing in all forms, self-discipline ... then this is the book for you! You'll go farther and faster than you ever have previously with much more appreciable joy and comfort in your Well-Beingness. We raised my daughter during her teen years with pretty much the same concepts, albeit less directly applied, and she is (at 19) already a superb Creator, manifesting a lifestyle that took my husband and I over two decades to produce! Applying Lynn's process simply WORKS. Don't you really (really!) want to live your life happily with everything clicking into place perfectly? You can! Buy Lynn's book and also check out the site, where Lynn's source teaching is derived from ... Feeling Good is our Birthright, so we might as well embrace it!
Rating: Summary: Incredibly inspiring, but not edited well Review: The information that Lynn Grabhorn presents in this book is quite astonishing and some will rebel against it. She insists that our positive or negative feelings create the reality we live in. While I don't think this is typical "blame-the-victim" mentality, it is a difficult concept for people to swallow. Did everyone at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon create their death scenario on Sept. 11th, 2001? I don't think so. But there is some karmic truth to what she says as it pertains to everyday life. The information on positive thoughts is quite powerful. Her methodology does work, although it's extremely difficult to keep the practice of postive feelings going all day long. I need to refer to this book often to remember to stay positive. I'd have given the book five stars, had it not been for irritating repetition of the word "feeeeelings" throughout the book. We get the message in the first few pages, but Grabhorn insists on repeating this word until your back teeth begin to grind. (And then that song of the same name starts playing in your head. Aghhhh.) An editor with a heavier hand was sorely needed. But on the whole, if you can ignore the negatives, this can be a life-changing book.
Rating: Summary: Another "copy paste" product filled with blah blah Review: Never before told, because it was never known before. In an upbeat, humorous and somewhat irreverant style, Lynn Grabhorn introduces us to the Amazing Law of Attraction..... (<- back of the book) Hidden between 309 pages, you will find a few mentions of the so called Law of Attraction. Although it is no ""physical Law" and I do not know if there is one person behind this Law. I do know that the Law of Attraction was mentioned way before Lynn came up with this Law. You can read all about it in the book: THOUGHT VIBRATION OR THE LAW OF ATTRACTION IN THE THOUGHT WORLD by William Walker Atkinson (published in 1906). Text is online available for free. But, if you read the book by Lynn Grabhorn, you get the idea (Zero!! mentioning of any direct references or credit to others) that she invented the Law. And the core of the book is about.....the Law of Attraction. Law of Attraction gets 4 votes (not an absolute Law ) Lynn Grabhorn gets 0,5 vote (for the effort of "rewriting" the Law) An average of 2 (2,25). And next time credit the people who deserve it.
Rating: Summary: The Last Self-Help Book You Will Ever Need Review: Awesome! I have read many books on positive thinking and the laws of attraction, but this one totally knocked my socks off! This well written and easy to read book is the missing link between positive thinking and actually creating the type of life we desire. When reading this book I recognized many things in my past that I had "deliberately created" (both good and bad) through the power of my feelings, and at the time wasn't really aware of what I was doing! For all of those truly seeking a way to make your dreams a reality, this book will show you how.
Rating: Summary: Ancient Wisdom Modernized Review: As a reviewer for the New Age publication The Monthly Aspectarian online and author of the book THE BIBLICAL TAROT: NEVER CROSS A PALM WITH SILVER, I see Grabhorn's thesis as an extremely viable extension of the most Ancient Biblical Wisdom into the modern world. The Kabbalistic principle Grabhorn uses is that "reality" manifests starting at the Divine level with thought or Idea, a spark -- transforms to emotion -- which motivates habitual action -- which manifests as reality. With only visualization, nothing will happen. Without visualization, nothing will happen. Visualization must be transformed to emotion, which must power action, then results happen. The trick to applying Grabhorn's method is to understand that the 'choice' Grabhorn says we all have to "feel" certain ways is a choice made by the subconscious mind, not the conscious. The subconscious mind is "programmed" by the kind of fiction we imbibe regularly -- which is why the content of our children's TV shows is so important to who they will become in life. Grabhorn's book is not so much about us, the adults, but about the children we are raising. Every parent should read this book and understand what it means about the emotions their children spend most of their time feeling -- especially while watching cartoons. ambrovzeor@aol.com
Rating: Summary: A Must Read!! Review: I have read many books and heard many recordings for self-help, however in all my years this book is undoubtedly the best of them all. It's written in a clear, fun and easily understood by the masses way. It appears our Dutch friend (see his review) has missed the point to this book. Ms. Grabhorn has interpreted the Law of Attraction in her way, so why should she mention all the other books out there. Take it for what it is worth. A great book for all to understand and practice. At least she keeps it entertaining, light and non-scientific.
Rating: Summary: Everyone Must Read! Review: A great book! A must read for everyone. This book shows how to turn your life around by dealing with one of its largest factors - your attitudes. I've read other scientific material that show concretely how our subtle energies affect material existence. This book exemplifies how to create the life you want and magnetize what you want using the natural laws of energy. What's the power source? The strong etheric strength of your own feelings and thoughts! Some might say it was a bit long-winded but these principles perhaps need some drumming-in to fully set. The knowledge isn't new but the vision of its' practical application and ramifications in life is totally refreshing and inspiring. From personal experience: IT WORKS. Take the leap and your life'll never be the same!
Rating: Summary: The BEST I've ever read!!!! Review: This book, "Excuse me, your life is waiting" is the BEST book I have ever read on how to get the things in life that you want! Lynn takes what most people are taught, to think about what you want and be positive, one step further. Since I've been 'feeling' what I want, things are happening! I'm very pleased with my results!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Just okay... Review: It's not a bad book, however, it is WAY too long for such a simple concept. If you're in need of repetition to understand a concept, then this book is written for you. The concept is good, the writing is less than juvenile. If you took out the cliches, you'd have 150 pages NOT 300+. It will begin to irritate if you catch on quickly.
Rating: Summary: worked for me, and continues to do so Review: I was skeptical. It seemed too simple. Yet I was able to bring into my life the exact job I was looking for by following the advice in this book. I made a list of all the things I wanted my new job to be and every day, several times a day, I read the list while working at creating good feelings about having this job (not an easy thing for me to do at the time since my financial situation was bleak and I was filled with crippling self-doubt, worry and fear). After a few weeks, seemingly "out of the blue," I got word of what sounded like the job I was looking for. I called, landed an interview the next day, and walked out of that interview hired. It was amazing. I've been doing the job for 8 weeks now and it's the most enjoyable job I've ever had. (I'm in my mid 40's, so I've had my share of jobs!) I'm now applying the same technique to other goals and I'm already seeing things beginning to line up for them. So cool. Don't let the casual tone of the writing make you think this isn't important stuff. Instead of an "expert" or "guru" preaching to you, the tone of the book is like having a good friend relay some wonderful discovery they made and now wishes to share. Although the technique is simple, it's not so easy to practice, so wired are our brains to think in terms of lack. For me, it's been best to write a list of my "wants" and to read it and feel good about it as often as I can, several times a day, every day. For a deeper and more traditionally spiritual take on the same subject, check out Dr. Wayne Dyer's The Power of Intention. For those who like to have a bit of a scientific backing for how this could be possible, check out Lynn McTaggert's The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe, a fascinating read that helps bridge the gap between science and spirituality. I can't recommend this book enough. My experience has been that it works. I'm very grateful to the author for sharing this wonderful information. Now start dreaming! Feeling Good in LA
