Summary: The triumph of an American hero
Review: This book, written by an American hero, is today's "Pentagon Papers" whistleblower that will help bring down the Bush regime. As is clear from the "reviews" here, unstable conservatives have become further unhinged with much wailings and gnashings of teeth as their failed president is exposed as incompetent. On national security, the ONE issue Bush claimed to be competent, he has been exposed as a rank fraud.

What gives Clarke unimpeachable credibility is that, far from giving Clinton a free pass, he levels significant criticisms at that administration as well. This book is not meant as a Bush-bash, it just relays the objective facts--which can't help but be a Bush-bash.

The paper trail, once all is declassified, will support Clarke. I have confidence in this asessment because, as Clarke writes in this book, Bush's own words confirm his lack of urgency for terrorism. The best these rabid conservative wackos can do is whine and scream "liar" without reading the book. Evidence and facts mean nothing to these people, and with each badly-worded one-star review, they only further discredit themselves. As someone who has actually bothered to read the book, I highly recommend it.

Summary: Mr. Clark: A Real American Sausage
Review: Whether you like Mr. Clark or don't like him, I have to say that his testimony is much like a nice, roasted, juicy sausage. It was plump and tender with information, yet juicy with just the right amount of titilating facts. It's almost as if you can imagine biting into his testimony and tasting the delectable sweetness of some superbly cured and cooked meat. For those of you getting hungry right now, please visit my web site at sausagenut.com. FREE can of beans with every order.

Summary: A Great Read
Review: A fantastic book from a man who served under 4 presidents. The man dared to tell the truth & now, he's suffering under a conservative smear campaign - what a shock!

Clarke wants all records declassified. Sounds like the man has nothing to hide. Hopefully, this will awaken some of the sleeping brains in this country who haven't dared to yet see the truth.

I was on the fence about this election for a while, but now it's clear. Bush has to go because America can't stand 4 more years of cover-ups and lies.

Summary: How about we don't LIE about what CNN said!
Review: CNN reported that Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist of Tennessee (R) stated that Clarke MAY have lied under oath. He wants earlier testimony declassified to determine if Clarke did lie or not under oath. Incidently Clarke also wants the full testimony declassified to prove that he did not lie. Senator Graham from Florida (D) also states that he does not believe that Clarke lied. He was chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee at the time of the joint investigation. Hmmmm. Nowhere did CNN, to the best of my knowledge from watching the network and reviewing their website, state that clarke did infact lie. Obviously they wouldn't be so stupid to accuse someone of lieing without any proof. Too bad we can't do that here at amazon.com. So maybe we should wait for the truth to come out before spouting off lies ourselves and slandering people. If Clarke lied it will be proven and he would be charged with purgery, if Clarke was telling the truth then Bush could be in trouble. Lets wait to find out for sure.
As for the book, I am only a couple chapters in, but so far it has been very interesting and I think that everyone should look at it. Is every word in it true? It is too early to tell.

Summary: A good man and a revealing book
Review: All these people insisting that Clarke lied under oath are SO FUNNY...

What did he lie about?

...

YOU DON'T KNOW!!!! The testimony is classified and the REPUBLICANS will NOT declassify it!!! AHAHAHAHAAH!!! OOOH he lied... but we can't tell you exactly what he lied about! AHAHAHAAH!!

This guy was the only person to take any action pre-9/11 on terrorism. He submitted a plan in JANUARY of 2001 on terrorism. It wasn't until SEPTEMBER 4, 2001 that they got around to looking at his plan. In JULY of 2001 this guy and Tenet put the US on high alert.. these guys were the only ones doing anything about terrorism.

BUSH himself SAID to Bob Woodard that Osama wasn't a priority and that "a plan was in the works" but he didn't know how mature it was... HE ASKED FOR A PLAN, Clarke provided it, and Bush IGNORED it until September 4th...

Oh by the way, what did Clarke lie about again??? Oh that's right, you don't know! Clarke is calling for ALL of his testimony to be declassified but the Republicans won't do it!

Clarke is yet another person from this corrupt BUsh admin to speak out, and predictably, they are going after him like wolves. Ripping apart a good man's credibility. The Bush administration is a vindictive group of people... "he'll never make a dime in Washington again" was overheard in the White House. "OOOH HE LIED UNDER OATH!!!" about what? ....................... Oh that's right, you don't know!!!

Meanwhile, Condeleeza Rice is off somewhere REFUSING TO TESTIFY. Testify under oath Condi, what are you afraid of? Afraid of ACTUALLY getting caught under oath? TESTIFY CONDELEEZA! WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF!?!? FACE THE MUSIC!!!

Summary: An American Hero
Review: Clarke's book wil leventually be seen as an historic document that helped bring down the most irresponsible presidency in modern times. We owe him our thanks for daring to tell the truth in the face of unrelenting character assasination from the Bush loving pinheads that have been writing reviews here and W's taxpayer funded attack machine. If you saw
him on "Meet the Press" you could not helped but be impressed with his sincerity, poise, integrity and his ready and convincing answers to all the ridiculous charges levied by the frothing and increasingly desperate Republican counterattackers.
Buy the book. Read it. Send Bush back to Crawford.

Summary: Bush is an embarassment to this country
Review: If there's one thing that's certain, it's that George W. Bush is going to burn in hell for the atrocities he's done to this country.

First, he refused to listen to sage advice warning him about the dangers of Al Quaeda. That incompetence cost 3000 American lives during the 9-11 attacks.

Second, he bluntly lied to the American people, trying to pin the 9-11 terrorist act on Saddam. He steadfastly stated that Saddam had WMD and that he had links with Al Quaeda and 9-11. Both have turned out to be obvious lies. Both Paul O'Neil and now Richard Clarke have stated that Bush had been trying to find a good reason for invading Iraq, and Bush found it. Why? Most likely he was still angry that Saddam had tried to assassinate his father in 1993.

Third, Bush continues a smear campaign against anyone going against him. Clarke served as terrorist expert for Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, and even Bush Jr. himself. Now all of a sudden Clarke cannot be trusted? Ridiculous.

You neocons should look into the mirror hard and ask yourself how it feels to be a sheep.

Summary: If Clarke is a hero then I guess that O.J., M. Jackson,
Review: Nixon and Clinton were/are all hero's too right! And I suppose you really think John Kerry tells the truth and is going to create all these jobs and won't raise taxes too.

And I suppose you think Howard Dean has his head screwed on right too.

Good luck!

Summary: From an Angry American
Review: 911 was an unfortunate time for a lot of Americans. Many of us lost loved ones. How disgusting it is that this modern day Judas (Clarke) is trying to capitalize on a tradgedy.

Clarke reminds me a lot of Kerry in that he is a flim-flam wishy washy, go the way the wind blows and not tell the truth type of character. I was not surprised to see on CNN that Clarke lied under oath and the whole thing is bogus.

Amazing what some people will do for money ain't it (pardon the grammar--it seems to fit where democrats, Clarke, Kerry and shills are concerned)

Thank you GWBII for your heroic efforts. Damn you Clarke for taking advantage of a crisis for you own personal gain. You are pathetic.

Summary: Clarke lied under oath. Let that truth be told-CNN..........
Review: Don't take our word for it, turn on CNN. The banner has been going acorss the screen all day long.

This man is a liar--lied under oath ala Clinton no less. Who would believe this guy? Only a paid shill. That's who!
