Rating: Summary: Even better than anticipated!!! Review: I had high hopes for this book when purchased and Mick surpassed even those. What a wonderful insight into the life of a true wrestling hero and superstar. I highly recommend for both wrestling fans and non-wrestling fans alike. A definate must Read. Way to go Mick!!!
Rating: Summary: Two thumbs UP Review: Mick poured his heart and soul into this book about his life in and out of the ring. It starts with his early life of following wrestling, includeing hitchhiking to Madison Square Gardens, and finishing with his winning of the Workd Wrestling Federation Championship. Everyone that you thought you knew about wrestling and MANY things that you would never imagine that goes on behind the scenes are described in this book in an HONEST manner. It is a must read for wrestling fans and non-wrestling fans alike. Have a nice day!
Rating: Summary: THE BOOK OF THE MILLENIUM Review: Absolutely Fantasitic,The Book Have a nice Day is that and so much more. The book is without a doubt the best book i've ever read i'm glued to it.Mick talks about his Troubled childhood as a 'loner'.His dream of becoming a wrestler. He talks about getting into the business, doing independent shows and sleeping in his car.He talks about going into wcw,and talks deeply about his tenure there,he talks about the time he lost his ear,his first match in ecw,his time spent in ecw,the king of the deathmatch tournament,Owen hart,Brian pillman, terry funk, and The INFAMOUS Hell in the cell.Pay whatever you can,you must read this book it's that good.Mick Delivered.
Rating: Summary: Best Book EVER! Review: First of all, this book will never grow dust on my book shelf. It is absolutly ony of my most favorite books of all time. The issues Foley describes will make you laugh and cry. All you critics that say wrestling is "fake" should read this book and then pass judgement.
Rating: Summary: A book for everyone! Review: I am not just a wrestling fan. I am a Mick Foley fan. His daredevil tactics and his three monikers in the world of wrestling have made me a fan. But, this book takes the cake. It is a showcase of true feelings, emotions, and offbeat, but touching humor. If you do not like wrestling, you are still going to love this book.
Rating: Summary: A great in-depth look at the kind of Hardcore! Review: This book is a must read for anyone, not just any wrestling fan, who likes a great, humerous, well written book. Hats off to Mick Foley and his book, which I can garuantee everyone will love.
Rating: Summary: Mankind like you've never seen Review: Mick Foley AKA Mankind gives you a no hold barred look into his career and life. Great read for wrestling fans.
Rating: Summary: A New Breed of Writer Review: So the WWF has moved into the book business too.Well if this is the kind of writing that we can expect from these personalities then we have a lot to look foward too. We get to see the behind the scenes action that a wrestler like Mick has to go through daily. It is a great way for people who are debating about going into the sport to see the non glamorous portion of the business. Besides the fact that we get to see the famous right ear.
Rating: Summary: really interesting book Review: I have just finished reading it. I picked it up yesterday and I must say it is better than I expected. Mick Foley is the funniest and toughest person in the world.
Rating: Summary: Mick Foley's autobiography bodyslams Arn Anderson's 4 Ever Review: As compared to Arn Anderson's 4 Ever, Mick Foley's autobiography is much more in depth, interesting, and more "real." Not to knock Anderson's book but Foley's is more professionally done, bound well and gives a better look at himself and the wrestling industry today. Andersons book had typographical errors!
