Rating: Summary: A MUST READ Review: Simply put, Mick poured his heart and soul into this book and it shows. The most eloquent man in sports entertainment takes you on a wild ride from the Foley house in Long Island through the WWF championship. Along the way the reader rides the road and gets an insider view of match booking, injuries suffered, and all types of stories about the behind the scenes personality of some of the biggest stars in wrestling (DDP, Austin, Owen Hart, Al Snow, etc.) Most of all this book is about one man's desire to entertain and his love of life.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: This book is fantastic, and is a must read for any wrestling fan. To miss this book would be the judicial equivalant of neglect.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic and So Much More Review: Let me start of by telling you that I have been a Mick Foley fan since the day I strated watching the WWF. I started in March of 1998, and Mick was Dude Love at that time. He entertained me so much that I practically watched WWF just for him. Over time, he changed back into Mankind and I loved him even more. Anyway, I just picked up his book at the store and I absotively posilutely love it. I'm only on page 40 or so, but I can already tell you it's the greatest book I've ever read. Let's put it this way, it should be at the top of the bestsellers chart. I wish there was more book to read. Pick up this book, wrestling fan or not, as it is an awesome selection. Trust me on this one, its worth it.
Rating: Summary: I think this book is awsome and Mick did a GREAT job! Review: Mick Foley did an AWESOME job on his book!I bought it the first day and have been entertained all the times I have read it!I recommend this book to everyone and you will enjoy it!
Rating: Summary: This Book Is Hardcore, and It Just Rocks Review: This book is great not only is it great for wrestling fans but it also is great for an averge day person who has a dream, and wants it to come true. This book has inspired me in many ways. This in my view is not a book but it is "The Life Of Mankind."
Rating: Summary: Exceptional debut by Mick Foley! Review: I was amazed at this book...many people think that wrestlers are uneducated, ignorant people, but for all those people, I would definitely recommend this book. Have A Nice Day gives a great insight on what the world of wrestling is really like. I admire Mick Foley a great deal for taking the time to write this book himself, especially without a computer or typewriter!!! His book is humorous, but serious at the right times....it's really an example of great writing skills, and I agree with Stone Cold Steve Austin when he asked why Mick isn't a writer instead of a wrestler! Overall, a great book, I recommend it to everyone, no matter if you're a wrestling fan or not.
Rating: Summary: ALMOST AS GOOD AS HIS MATCHES! Review: This book is incredible. I went right out on Thursday and bought it. Cactus Jack is a genius.Read this book and enjoy the GREATEST wrestler of all times life story.
Rating: Summary: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE ROCK SAYS ABOUT MICK FOLEY'S BOOK Review: I am one of the "dozens and dozens" of Mankind fans and I think the Rock's review (if it really was the Rock) was way off base. Trailer trash? Nope, I don't think so. The only trailer Mr. Foley will be needing is one to cart home the "millions and millions" of dollars he'll be making on book sales. And if the Rock doesn't like that, he can take his opinion, shine it up real pretty and . . . well, you know the rest. Buy this book, you won't regret it. Good reading for wrestling fans and non-wrestling fans alike.
Rating: Summary: Greatest life story... EVER! Review: After only the first ten pages I was hooked and mezmorized by the real yet totally intesting like of Mrs. Foley's baby boy. I am a huge wrestling fan yet this book would have to be one of the greatest autobiographys in the world right now, right along side Malcom X and "Travels with Charley" by John Steinbeck. Wrestling fan or not, this is a must read!
Rating: Summary: Oh My God! Review: Mick Foley has given his body to the sport of professional wrestling, and this book proves it. From the time he lost his ear to the events leading to the now infamous "Hell in a Cell" match this book has it all. Not only is it a must for wrestling fans but it is also a must for all of those who love to laugh, cry, and Have a wonderful book to read.
