Rating: Summary: King of Hardcore, goes King of Hard-back Review: This is a great book for the wrestling or non wrestling fan. Mick has changed my view about wrestling, and even part of my life. For years wrestling has been in my blood, I even had a little stint of going to work out with a wrestling school. By just reading the first 4 chapters mick has gaven my a different look on life. Mick, if you read this i thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you don't, I hope someone else will, buy the book, and may get something out of it. Either way, Thanks Mick. "My Moto" I wish I could Wrestle like Shawn Micheals, I wish I could be the person Mick has turned out to be!.
Rating: Summary: Best book I've ever read! Review: Well, there's not much to say that hasn't been said already. Anyone will love this book, even if you're not a wrestling fan. If you are a wrestling fan, you probably have it already but if not, what are you waiting for? Buy it!
Rating: Summary: This is a great book for the enthusiastic wrestling fan Review: I really like this book so far. I am up to some gruesome and touching parts where Mick foley shares his feelings with us about his teenage years. For example, the girl of his dreams calls him Frank! This book is not for the squeamish.
Rating: Summary: The best wrestling autobiography out there Review: Maybe my opinions are somewhat biased by having met the author the day I started reading the book, but even if I hadn't, I'd still say this book is an excellent read for wrestling fans (and an eye-opener for the non-fans). From the opening story of how Mick lost his ear in Germany, all the way through to his title loss to the Rock, the book is chockful of tales of happiness, moments of frustration, lots of self-deprecating humor, a show of love for his family, and more than a few zings at Al Snow. Reading about the hell Mick has gone through in order to become the success he is today will open more than one wannabe wrestler's eyes. One warning: if the thought of Dallas Page unclothed makes you queasy, skip pages 214-216.
Rating: Summary: This is great for Wrestling & Non-Wrestling fans alike! Review: I have only read a few chapters but i alredy love it. It's a MUST READ for Wrestling fans and if your not a wrestling fan you should borow it from one and read it! HAVE A NICE DAY! :-)
Rating: Summary: A stimulating book of a true life wrestler Review: I read the book Have a nice day, by Mick Foley and I thought it was great. It let the regular person in his life and find out about his home life and his kids. I think Mick Foley is a strong man who self personafies himself as a rgular guy but for those who watch wrestling, we know that there is a lot more to him than that.
Rating: Summary: This book is killer. Review: This book is one of, if not the best, books I have ever read. Mick's detailed accounts of all his travels and tribulations have pushed the meaning of 'biography' to a new level. This is absolutely a recommended read.
Rating: Summary: best of the best Review: forget Ted Dibiase, and Arn Anderson, they need to read this book and see how it's done. I'll admit...when Mick joined the WWF I didn't care for his character. The squealing and hairpulling didn't do it for me. And Dude Love...nothing for me either. But something about Mick started to grow on me in 1998. Thank god he left WCW because that is not the place for such a rich character as Mankind...or Cactus Jack. Keep up the good work and all you customers reading the reviews...check out Bret Harts documentary since it deals with another great wrestler.
Rating: Summary: This book explains the true identity behind the mask Review: I have never watched wrestling like a die hard freak but after my friend convinced me that it would be one of the truest, funniest books I have read in a while, I did....... AND I LOVED IT! WWF HERE I COME
