Summary: Best book ever.
Review: As a college student I often hear my professors talk about this book is the Bible of Computer Programming, or that book is the Bible of Statistics and to those of you who are students/fans of professional wrestling I say to you this book is the Bible of Pro Wrestling. I have been an avid fan of wrestling for years and even my views on it were changed after reading Mick's book, I knew wrestlers when through alot, but even I was amazed at Mick's trials and tribulations. If you call yourself a wrestling fan and don't own this book, you deserve to be put through a table.

Summary: Proof that Pro Wrestlers are people, too!
Review: I recomend this book to EVERYONE even if you aren't a wrestling fan. Foley writes all about his early dreams of becoming a wrestler, the training, meeting his wife and building a family, his carer in Japan along side Terry Funk, and a bit on the late great Owen Heart. You'll smile, cheer, jeer, wince, and maybe even cry all through this book. He'll even tell you some insider wrestling terms. Wonderfully written by the man himself...NO ghostwriters! This book prooves that a man who can take so many sick bumps and lay his body on the line for his job can still have a good head on his shoulders.

Summary: He's Hardcore, He's Hardcore 4 Life
Review: Whether he was in lacross or on top of a 16-foot cage, Mick Foley was always a risk taker. He lived in his car, attended college, and trained for wrestling at the same time. If that isn't a testiment to a man's dedication to his goals I don't know what is. To read this book is to get into the mind of the world's greatest hardcore wrestler who's practically a teddy bear in real life. No offense Mick, but you can't tell me I'm lying.

When you buy this book, you'll realize that there's more to Mick Foley than his insane wrestling career and his current personal life. In a business where most guys hardly even talk to their wives, girlfriends, parents, etc., he's been able to balance his time. You'll even learn just how he survived college and training.

Summary: Foley wins Again
Review: Mick Foley has truly written a masterpiece here. This book should be ranked as a National Treasure. With his life story here, this book should rank as one of the top non-fiction books ever written. Foley has a great career as an author ahead of him here.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The book I enjoy reading.
Review: When I bought this book I thought it talks about Mick Foleys' life. But it was about his life in wrestling. How he began his career in wrestling from show to show road-trips. It also talks about how he paid the price to become the top wrestler of all time.
I enjoy reading this book because it feels like if you were there with him every step along the way. It's more like a life experice of wrestling, how hard it takes to become the top star of the business.

Summary: GOT MICK?
Review: Once you read this book, I hope it shatters any stereotypes of professional wrestlers being steroid-fueled meatheads with the I.Q. of dryer lint. (Well, actually that's WCW.) Anyway, HAVE A NICE DAY is simply an excellent read. Yes, I am a wrestling fan, but you will no doubt be impressed by this informative, intelligent, and sometimes funny book by this multi-lingual, highly intelligent wrestler. Forget the books by The Rock, Chyna, Goldberg, or DDP, Foley is actually a good writer. Yeah, his playful jabs at fellow wrestlers Al Snow, Test, etc. get real old after a while, but aside from that he actually manages to impress with his highly descriptive storytelling.

My personal favorite sections:
When Mick tells of his first WWF match: Himself (Jack Foley and Les Thornton vs. The British Bulldogs) I actually remember that match and I think I even have it on tape! (I used to LOVE the Bulldogs)

His times at ECW.

The infamous HELL IN A CELL match with The Undertaker.

Whether you are a wrestling fan or not, you'll love this book of a man who overcame the odds to reach the top.

Bang-Bang!
Have a nice day!

Summary: Fabulous Insight Into the World of Professional Wrestling
Review: Being a very long time TV wrestling fan, I decided to check out Mr. Foley's book. I was very pleasantly surprised at how he was able to get me to like his profession even more. He is able to tell, in his own very articulate and irreverent manner, how hard wrestling really is. Mr. Foley pulls us through his world and shows us how close all the wrestlers are and what they all go through daily to provide us the with great performances. This is a book for people who love professional wrestling. If you are just slightly interested, this book will make you love this profession also! Good work Mr. Mick Foley!!

Summary: Mick Foley reigns forever
Review: Foley is the best. He's the reason I watched the former WWF and the reason I stopped. Even when he wasn't wrestling I just loved to watch him. He's the best. Since he's no longer wrestling I'd recommend, to all his fans who are looking for a taste of Foley, to get this and his other books as well. Foley is an excellent writer. His style is not poetic or beautiful, it's real. He writes as though he's speaking out loud. Each life story you read will sound as though it's coming from his mouth and he's reminiscing as he tells it.Alot of things I wondered about Foley were answered in this book. Like does he feel pain??(get the book to find out!!) Excellent book, not for a wrestler, or a celebrity but in-general it's just a good book.

Summary: Mick Foley......with a tube sock?
Review: Mick Foley a wrestler by heart, writer by nature composed a great book along with Jim Ross. Usually I would never read a book as long as that. But, Foley did two things that not many writers can do, he asciated two things I love...Rasslin' as Jim Ross says and Comedy. I thaught it was great how everything he did however violent it was he still made a joke of. Also his songs and such in the beggining were great. I recomend it for the person who's into reading comedy and likes rasslin'.
