Rating: Summary: This book is Brilliant Review: If you would like to know everything about the man behind the mask then this is your book. It takes you on a strange but exciting journey through the eyes of a man that has three personalities. I hope he writes another story because he is a brilliant storyteller.
Rating: Summary: the best book ever Review: this book was awsome it was funny it was long but good you have to bye this book it's only $13.00 hear at amazon so order order order order order order [fade away] trust me it is the best book eever put out by WWF so i in correge you to bye it NOW.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Review: this is one of the best books I've ever read! It was more enjoyable than "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Stright" by Jimmy Breslin. Foley shows us both the inside of his mind and the outside of his rough, strong body. It was funny and exciting. I learned an awful lot about Mick Foley and the wrestling world in general. I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: AWESOME! Review: Mankind is a great writer and I am surprised on how much he remembers(considering how many shots to the head he has taken.) Stone Cold Steve Austin thinks Mankind should have been a writer instead of a wrestler. He goes in depth and makes you feel what he felt during his carrer(and his life for that matter.) Mankind actually wrote the book too(unlike the Rock)! He will make you laugh and occasionally wince. It will be hard to put it down.I garuntee it!
Rating: Summary: Buy It Now Review: I just want to say this was the greatest book i have ever read, and i think everyone should read this book not matter if they r a wrestling fan or not.
Rating: Summary: Incredability squared Review: Best book i've ever read, with out a shadow of a doubt. From page 1 i was interested and could not put it down. Even none wrestling fans will enjoy looking into the tortured soul of Mankind. Definate page turner!
Rating: Summary: BEST BOOK EVER Review: I am 12 Years old. I have been watching The wwf since i was six. This is one of the best books i have ever read. You can almost feel his pain while reading it.
Rating: Summary: Great work Mike! Be proud of it, oh, Be very proud of it! Review: Mankind is an amazing man. From Fight death Matchs in Japan, to fighting for the World Wrestling Federation, I find it amazing how this man is still walking. But he is, and he lived to tell us the story right here, in his book, which for me speaks a great deal of the man. Mike Foley is called a "GOD" by the fans, and when you read this book, you will soon find out why. He is for me, without a doubt, one of the bravest men I have ever heard off. Also, this book for me is a must. Anyone who is a Foley fan has got to buy this book right away! Well done Foley, now all I can say is bring on The Rock Says!
Rating: Summary: THE HARDCORE STYLE WAS PROVEN AT ROYAL RUMBLE! Review: I am writing this review the night following the Royal Rumble. This book truly explains why Mick, who is in his Cactus Jack persona right now, lives and breathes hardcore. We saw that hardcore in action as well, since Triple H was in a blood-covered painful state (yet managed to retain the WWF Championship) and he won't be the same tonight on RAW. This book shows just how individual a human being Mick Foley is. Not a lot of people are addicted to being "busted wide open." If this is what he wants, this is what he gets. SInce he has a family who is mentioned in this book numerous times, with an everlasting love, he shows the REAL Mick Foley and how he enjoys the social life. This social life is college, family, wrestlers, and the dozens...and dozens...of Mick's/Jack's/Love's/Mankind's fans. No matter how many broken bones, pints of blood lost, and stitches taken, Mick tells his story with pride. He doesn't need special writing skills to put out a NUMBER ONE ON THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! Oh, and by the way, I personally think the Triple H/Cactus Jack match is right up there with Hell in a Cell.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I must admit, I haven't been a big wrestling fan since I was a kid and Hulk Hogan was rumbling around the ring with the Junk Yard Dogg. Now that I am a college student and avid reader, I've perused through everything from Steinbeck to Kant to Clancy, and this book is by far one of the most pleasurable and life inspiring pieces of literature I've ever read. It's like sitting with one of the most interesting people in the world and him telling you his amazing life stories. Thank you, Cactus, for giving us this work of art.
