Summary: A class act
Review: This book was awesome! It was great to hear about all of the behind the scenes things that we as wrestling fans don't usually get to see or hear about. Mick Foley is dedicated to put his body on the line on a daily basis. It was nice to read not only about Cactus Jack but Mick Foley the person as well. He is a dedicated family man and someone the young wrestling fans can truly look up to. In professional wrestling all you ever hear about are the bad things it great to finally read something positive. Mick your Long Island fans are truly proud of you! This book is definately NOT for the squeamish! BANG! BANG!

Summary: An excellent view of a world that not many are familiar with
Review: I haven't actually finished this book yet. I am about half ways through with it. But I feel that I have read enough to say that if you haven't read this book, READ IT! It opens up a lifestyle that not many people are familiar with, or condone. In professional wrestling, either you love it or you hate it. This book opens up the doors to an unexplained world, and makes you actually accept this lifestyle. This book is a genuine Cinderella story, this man has barely any athetic ability at all. But in despite of all odds, reaches his dream. Mick Foley has heart and drive, and loves what he does very much. This book follows every inch of his strange, yet sucessful life. READ IT! You won't be dissappointed.

Summary: STANDING APPLAUSE PLEASE
Review: This book is a credit to all books. This book is not as much an advertisement for wrestling, then it is an advertisement for sticking to something even when times are at their worst. Mick Foley (Mankind) tells about his adventures as a kid, growing up in a wrestling world, trying to make a living. This is got to be the best book I've ever read. The detail. The description. The AL SNOW JOKES! Take my advice and please buy this book.

Summary: this book was excellent
Review: I thought this book by Mick Foley was excellent. However, I saw him on several interviews and he stated that he wrote it all himself on 750 sheets of notebook paper, there were no "ghost" writers. However, I am now finding out that he had not only a ghost writer, but that there were "2" ghost writers. Please respond asap. Thank you, Renee' W. Byrd

Summary: Let's get ready to rumble---not . .
Review: First, this is a really good book, especially for those of you old enough to remember some of the big names of the 70's and 80s, and I don't mean the Hulkster and Macho Man. My only disappointment, if you could even call it that, was the lack of "the inside story" of the WWF and its luminaries. There's a decent bit on how Vince screwed Brett Hart but aside from that, there really isn't much of the "dirt" I was expecting. In retrospect, I guess that's because Cactus Jack has to face these guys every day. Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that the book is copyrighted by WWF Entertainment. All in all, a good book. As you read it, I promise that you will say to yourself at least ten times "This guy's nuts! " Count me as one of Mankind's dozens of fans.

Summary: This book rules.
Review: This book is a great read. If you haven't done so I suggest you do ASAP. It's even enjoyable for non-wrestling fans as Mick Foley pours his heart out in this one. Surf the web as you normally do and make money! This is a great way to easily earn supplemental income to your regular job.

Summary: Hardkore Legand Scores Big!
Review: Hardkore Legand Mick Foley (AKA Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack) has scored big with this incredible book. He tells you his life story, from the skinny little teenager that put his body on the line in back yard brawls, through his trials and tribulations while trainning and working, all the way to the story of the obeis, long haired man that we wrestling fans have grown to love. A must read for any wrestling fan, peerson with a sence of humer or just someone looking for a great read

Summary: Incredible
Review: I thought that this book should be compared to the likes of Hemingway. He is an incredible writer, and deserves all the success that he gets. The book itself has made me look at wrestling in a whole different way, and has made me even more of a fan of the WWF. All in all this book rocks!
