Summary: WHAT A BOOK!!!
Review: I have got to speak my mind: Stap ragging on the mob violence and start looking at the plot! I will admit that in Eoin Colfer's third (and hopefully not the last) Artimis Fowl novel there is a lot of mob and gang violence, but I think that that is to be expected as a direct product of Artimis delving deeper and deeper into the criminal underworld. It was coming, this climax, there was no avoiding it. Artimis has been digging himself a hole (and increasingly making it deeper) ever since the first novel and this is what has been coming. He gets involved in crime, and once you get in, it's hard getting back out which is the lesson that Artimis id finnaly learning.
As for the book itself, it starts out with pure, cold, edge-of-your-seat exitment in the form of an intense firefight against the buisness lord Spiro (a man not so unknown in the crime world himself) as Artimis tries to make a few (all right, a lot more than 'a few') pounds (and I mean pounds of gold, not British money) off of stolen fairy technology in which Butler is shot point blank in the chest. I think that this inciddent realy shows the first true sing of Artimis being a child that has been shown in the entire series, He cries, he feels helpless, he does what a child would do and actually shows true friendship and love.

The only reason that this book didn't get more than four stars is that the author (Colfer) seems to be slipping into the chasm that is overcoming many of today's cartoonists, comedians and authors: bathroom humor. All right maybe there was a little in the previous books but I was simply disgusted by Mulch Digum using his "wind power" (dwarf gas) to misdirect a camera. Hey I guess no book can be perfect, but let me say that this novel comes awfully close.

Summary: good book
Review: Artemis Fowl And The Eternity Code is a very thrilling book that you will read in a matter of days. It has a really god plot. You must read all the other books before you read this book though because it all ties into the other books. Another reason I liked this book was because it had a lot of strange mythical creatures in it like Holly the elf, Mulch the mining dwarf and Foaly the centaur. I would recomend this book to anyone between the ages of 9-14 and anyone who likes to read fantasy books.

Summary: Disappointed yet Intrigued Reader
Review: I bought the first three books(I'm guess there is supposed to be more) and when I cracked the first one I felt there was something missing. The characters seems to be stale and overly animated to make up for it. I read on, thinking that it would get better, but I'm sorry to report I stopped halfway through the third "novel" and can't bring myself to finish reading the series. However, on the upside, I believe the book was written for younger readers that may still need the stereotypical characters to help them understand the non-existant dynamics of this book.

So as not to be completely harsh, I enjoyed the premise of the book moreso than the writing itself and found the ideas it presented interesting if not overly absorbing.

Summary: Not a great Book
Review: The First book was great. But in this one, it's all too predictable and Artemis is no longer much of a villain. He seems a lot too noble and the story is not exactly unique.

Summary: A great addition to a wonderful series
Review: Artemis Fowl is a criminal. At least he was before his father got back from a two-year imprisonment in Russia. The boy's father, a former criminal himself, has made Artemis promise give up his criminal schemes to help put the family back on the track a proper family should be on. But what fun is there in leaving the criminal world without a big finish?

So Artemis has invented the C Cube, out of fairy technology stolen from previous adventures of his, of course. But when a business deal involving this revolutionary object goes about as wrong as trusting a dwarf to keep his hands off a pile of gold, Artemis needs to call in fairy help, Captain Holly Short of the LEP, to be exact, in order to save his only friend.

Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code is a breathtaking adventure and the third book in the captivating Artemis Fowl series. Fans of the originals will be as amazed and drawn into this story as the first two.

Summary: New adventures for our favorite anti-hero!
Review: In this book, Artemis is still dangerously clever and selfish, but yet somewhat nicer now. I really liked this book, and is certainly a must read!

Summary: COLFER DOES IT AGAIN!
Review: An addicting book is Artemis Fowl The Eternity Code. The best book in the series written by Eion Colfer. Artemis tries to do buisness with an elite buisnessman Jon Spiro. Butler gets mortally injured. Fowl needs help from the fairies. Will they help Butler or not? Here is an exciting part of the book. " Key codes. Okay. Cameras. No problem. Wait until I show you wha I've devoloped for CCTV cameras. I'm fast forwarding through the corriders. Dum de dum de dum, ah, the vault. Pressure pads, antibiotic mats. Motion sensors. Tempature sensitive lasers. Thermal cameras, voice recognition, retina and gel thumbprint scanners." You would like this book if you like action, technology, fairies, and stuff like that. It is a GREAT book!!!!
