Rating: Summary: As good as the rest of em, and that's saying something! Review: I must admidt, when I first saw "Artemis Fowl- the Eternity Code" I was skeptical. I had read the previous two Artemis Fowl books, and enjoyed them, but I didn't expect this one to live up to my expectations. How wrong I was. Eoin Colfer again proves his knack for witty dialogue, quirky humor, and wild plots. I was pleased to see Artemis develop as a character, as well as Butler. Another plus for "The Eternity Code" is the addition of Butler's little sister, Juliet, who can take down five men the size of tanks with one judo kick. There were a few bits here and there that were a little sketchy- but the tingle of anticipation the reader gets at the end all but makes up for it, as well as leaves a great plot open for book four. I hope it's as good as this one!!
Rating: Summary: You could read it for eternity... Review: Da da dum... A revolutionary technology that Artemis developed (well, actually stole from the fairies)has been stolen by a ruthless business man. Butler, Artemis, Juliet, Mulch, and Captain Holly Short must develop a strategy to get it back. This is an excellent book, and I reccommend you buy it.
Rating: Summary: The Eternity Code Review: I found the third book in the Artemis Fowl series a very enjoyable read. The world created in this story is very vivid and really pulls you into the book. If you are looking for adventure, emotion, and humor, this is definitely for you. I strongly recommend this to those of you who love fantasy, but you might want to check out the first two (which are just as good as this one!), if you already haven't.This new adventure for Artemis Fowl is very creative. All the old characters are back, with some very interesting new ones, such as Jon Spiro and his body guard, Arno Blunt. I don't want to give away anything; you'll have to read it for yourself! Trust me, you will really enjoy this third installment in this wonderful series.
Rating: Summary: Fowl is Back! Review: Eoin Colfer has really outdone himself on this one! All through the series, Artemis has progressed incredibly, and this book shows that well. It's filled with humor, action, suspense, and almost anything else you like in a good book except for romance (which is a good thing in my opinion!) This is a must for all Fowl fans and great book for any reader entering the sci-fi and fantasy world. Just read the first two before this!
Rating: Summary: very good book Review: I really liked the book. I would read for hours not being able to stop. The end was really sad and left me thinking that there is another one on its way. The friendship between Artemis and Holly had grown in the 16 months of their friendship and it seems that some way Artemis will find the fairies once again.
Rating: Summary: Artemis is at the top of his game Review: With eager hands I picked up the third installment of the Artemis Fowl series. The second book paved the way for the Fowl family to potentially follow the straight and narrow path. Before such a thing occurs Artemis has one more brilliant business plan up his sleeve that utilizes some fairy technology that had been 'borrowed'. During this business meeting the reader gets a glimpse at the child genius' naivete and need for adult guides. In this third installment you'll meet familiar faces, (keep an eye out for Grub and his wicked hangnail)and once again be astounded by young Artemis penchant for intrigue and inadvertent trouble-making. The end is sure to get your mind working in overtime as Mr. Colfer presents a unique dilemna. Should a 4th book be in the works it can go in so many different directions. I for one, plan to be in line for that one as well.
Rating: Summary: Not as good as the first two Review: I thought Artemis Fowl number three was good, yet I don't believe that it was nearly as good as the first two. I myself found it to be a little too gruesome, and thought the end was sad. Yet Artemis Fowl is always two steps ahead so don't give up hope. 13 year old reader.
Rating: Summary: Must Have Book! Review: My title is pretty much self explanatory. The Eternity Code had very professionally mixed magic, action and strategy(VERY clever strategies I might add). Artemis Fowl is no ordinary teenage boy. He is a genius with money and power. Deadly combination. And he doesn't have ordinary friends either: Captain Holly Short(Fairy)who has a knack of breaking rules, Foaly(Centaur/electronics geek) who is annoying yet funny and very smart, Mulch Diggums(kleptomaniac dwarf). You will love this book! Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Amazing 3rd Installment Review: This is an amazing book. It rivals the first one in nearly every way. Although I felt the second installment of the series was slightly weeker than the origional, this one certainly made up for it. Artemis has a fantastic adventure, and is working without the help of Butler for a shocking change (I won't tell you what happens to him). Fouly has a big part in this book, as does Butler's littlesister, Juliet. Although Eoin Colfer has sighned a contract for a 4th book, I still think of this book as the final onebecause of what happens in its ending. It will be great to see how Mr. Colfer links this book to the next. Overall, this is an amazing story and everyone should read it.
Rating: Summary: Great book! Review: When I first read it I was amazed that such a book is so great! The book has everything, action, unique characters, technology. Every thing about it makes you want to read more.
