Summary: The third is the charm
Review: Artemis Fowl, now 13, and much less cold-hearted is back in the third part of this action packed series about a boy genius who is too smart for his own good.

Since promising his father that he'd stop his law-breaking ways, Artemis is up to one last, tiny crime that he is sure will seal his legacy. Unfortunately Artemis doesn't count on the operation being a total failure. When Artemis meets with American buisnessman Jon Spiro all Artemis wanted to do was trick Spiro into losing some big bucks over the "C Cube", a mixture of human and faerie technology way ahead of our time, a technology that will literally cause all of Spiro's enterprises to become ancient history. Instead of intimidating Spiro, Artemis is set up and Spiro steals the C-Cube while fatally wounding Butler in the process. Artemis is once again forced to enlist the help of his less than happy faerie friends. So once again we are off in another new adventure with Holly Short, Foaly, Commander Root, and of course Mulch Diggins.

Eoin Colfer just keeps getting better and better. This book kept you on your toes and the more involved role of Juliet Butler was definitely a welcoming surprise. In this book, Colfer shows us his great logic and humor as a writer. The ending was fitting though I will seriously miss Artemis, he just kept getting better and better. I am definitely hoping that Colfer will change his mind and write a fourth book. The ending definitely suggest more adventures in the future. Anyway more books or not, Artemis has definitely sealed his legacy in the book world.

Summary: Artemis Fowl Eternity Code Book Review
Review: Eion Colfer came out with his latest fantasy book, Artemis Fowl, The Eternity Code the third book he made.

In this book Artemis Fowl's father was held captive by Mafia for two years, and his father said that he should not commit any crimes. But, Artemis Fowl want to commit one more crime. He created a computer that can do fairy magic that was stolen with fairy technology fifty years before it was even made! It was called C cube. But a character named John Spiro made a trap, stole the computer, and killed a character named Butler. Artemis's, only hope is to make fairy magic for his friend Captain Holly of the fairy police.

In conclusion, this book is very good for ages 10-13. I myself liked the book and all the other books named The Artic Incident and Artemis Fowl, because it is so amazing with all these cool things. It is a good book.

Summary: DECODED: An Action-packed and fun novel--hilarious!
Review: HE'S BAAACK! Yes, Artemis Fowl is back in action in the third addition to the hit series. The book is packed full with action and lives up to the promises of the other books.

Artemis Fowl is coming to grips with the return of his kidnapped father and Fowl Sr.'s newly formed conscience. His parents are insisting on turning around the illegal enterprises of the Fowl Family, but Artemis isn't so sure. Still, in an effort to please his parents, he decides that he will commit just one last crime. Just a tiny one.

But, Artemis didn't count on the operation blowing up in his face. When he meets with American master criminal Jon Spiro, he didn't realize he was being set up. All Artemis wanted to do was intimidate him a little bit with his new "C Cube", a hybrid of fairy and human technology decades ahead of its time; it will render all other technologies--like the ones Spiro creates--obsolete. So when Spiro steals the Cube and mortally wounds Butler in an attempt to murder Artemis, the young master criminal is forced to seek the aid of his long-time adversaries.

The Fairies are less than pleased when Artemis reveals his loss of the fairy technology, that, in the wrong hands, would be capable of revealing the entire Fairy civilization. Determined to steal back the C Cube, Artemis enlists the aid of Captain Holly Short and the Fairy criminal Mulch Diggums in a risky operation that takes place in Chicago.

Great fun! Colfer exercises his great prowess as a writer as he seamlessly winds the third story of Artemis Fowl. The funny, witty characters manage to be charming and tough. The only qualm I had was that Holly and Artemis had less interaction that they did in #2, which would have added even more humor to the novel. We also get to know Juliet Butler better, which is a good addition to the story.

Okay, do you really have to read this review to know you NEED TO READ this book? I didn't think so. If you haven't, read the others first. And when you have finished all three, you'll be hoping that Colfer will produce a fourth (its rumored that it will be quartet.)

So Happy Reading! You'll have lots of fun with this one...

Summary: Lots of mobsters, fewer fairies
Review: There's no escaping it, Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code is a gripping, lightning-fast read. If you are a fan of the previous two books in this series, you'll definitely want to give it a try. This time child criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl's master creation - a tiny computer based on the fairy technology he stole in the last book - is hijacked by a Chicago mobster, Jon Spiro. Artemis teams up with the fairies to get it back.

Because "Eternity Code" revolves around Artemis vs. evil human adults more than Artemis vs. fairies, we lose some of the entertaining and creative descriptions of the Fairies' underground universe. The only fairy creatures who play much of a part in the action are Holly Short and Mulch Diggums. What's more, the human-vs-human violence is really R-rated: loyal bodyguard Butler gets a mortal gunshot wound to the chest in the first chapter (how will he survive?), and Spiro's henchman are constantly choking and destroying (or attempting to destroy) other characters.

It's an extremely well-plotted book. You won't be able to put it down. Still, as a reader and as a parent, I would have preferred more of the fairies and less of the mobsters.

Summary: great action
Review: This was the best Artemis Fowl book. It had more action, fairy technology, and cleverness of Artemis Fowl. I think it was the easiest of the three to catch on to. That's probably because this is the last one, where you know a lot already. I actually liked this one the most because of Fowl's cleverness. I didn't like that there wasn't much of Foaly in this book, only a little. Nevertheless, it was still great.

Artemis has used fairy technology to make a mini super computer cube called the "C cube." A multibillionaire, Jon Spiro, steals the cube and finds out that he needs Artemis Fowl to crack the eternity code. Along with cleverness, and fairy technology, Artemis Fowl bands together with Captain Holly Short to devise a plan to retrieve the cube and keep the fairy people safe.

I think anyone should read this book. I can't believe that the author thought up this amazing teenager. He must be a genius to think of a genius for Artemis. It's so great to finish the series and to see the change in Artemis. You have to read this book if you read the other two, to complete the series of Artemis Fowl, by Eoin Colfer

Summary: An extremely good read
Review: The Eternity Code, the third book in the popular Artemis Fowl series, is amazingly well written. Unlike some series, this sequel is completely different from the other two books, with a plot that takes place 95% of the time on the surface with the "Mud-Men." I don't want to give away the story, but it is basically about Artemis' struggles with a corrupt American businessman over technology that was stolen from Artemis (who, of course, stole it from the People in the first place.) The important thing in this story is that Artemis' father, who has returned, wants the Fowl family to go straight, making this possibly young Master Fowl's last saga. I hope not, for this series is one of my favorites.

Summary: ARTEMIS FOWL IS DA BOMB!
Review: This book is about a 13-year old teenager who is a genius. His name is Artemis Fowl. It starts off when Artemis makes a "C-Cube". The C-Cube is a super computer that can do anything from playing a CD to downloading secret information from satellites all over the world to talking on the phone. Artemis' plan is to meet with Jon Spiro, a powerful leader of one of the world's biggest cell phone companies. When Spiro see's Artemis' great piece of technology, he wants it all for himself. Throughout the rest of the book Artemis and his fairy friend, Holly, are on a quest to get the C-Cube back from Jon Spiro's high security vault.

I liked this book a lot. I loved how Artemis is a genius and always had a plan that never failed. In this book, just when you think that Artemis has failed, and his plan was faulty, Artemis' scheme comes to the final stage...

Summary: The Best
Review: Artemis Fowl is back for the third time, in the amazing book called Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code.

After having rescued his father from the Russian Mafia, Artemis is glad to have him back. But he soon realizes his father has changed: from a greedy man doing anything for money to a person who cares and loves his family. He wants to make sure that from now on his family would not do any illegal business. But Artemis thinks it wouldn't hurt to do one more crime. Boy, is he wrong!

After creating the 'C Cube' Artemis meets an Amarican businessman named Jon Spiro. Intrigued by the C Cube, a supercomputer which is created from fairy technology, Jon Spiro steals it. After all, it is decades ahead of its time! In the action, Butler is mortally wounded and it would take a miracle to save him... Even fairy magic cannot fully heal him. The only choice Artemis has is to look for help from his old rival, Holly Short.

A great book. The ending is really surprising, with a great plot and many super ideas. If you didn't read the first two books from the Artemis Fowl series, I suggest you do before reading this one. I recommend this book to anyone, children and adults alike!
