Review: While this book is entitled "War Letters" it is actually a love letter to every United States citizen. The men and women who authored the letters within had no idea at the time what the future would bring, many were confused and most were scared. But they knew that what they were doing would make the world a better place for those to come.

Andrew Carroll has done an amazing job. I don't know how he could have chose what to include or what to quote. I do know though, that every American should read this book and thank the men and women who have contributed.
